Does Use of Hair Iron Can Cause Hair Damage?

Most of the time I just pony tail my hair because it is very thick and frizzy. I decided to buy a ceramic hair straightener from Avon to be able to at least loose my hair. I tried using it once but I am having a hard time doing it to my own hair and also I don't have enough time. I am concern if I decided to use it everyday will it cause more damage to my hair? It also says on the box not to use on wet hair. Is it alright then to use a hair dryer or it will cause more damage?

I really don't have a good crowning glory. I hope one day I will have a straight, shiny hair that I can display without any worries. I've tried several hair treatments before like hair rebonding, hair relaxing and hot oil. They worked for a few months but I would not be able to afford to go to the parlor every time. I am the only one working and have other priorities. If you have any personal experience on how to have a healthy hair that doesn't cost much I would really appreciate it. ^_^

Do you believe in the quotation Love is an Ocean of Emotion ? When we say love there are thousands of descriptions and beliefs out there. Some people doesn't even believe in it. Love is everywhere that's what they say. But how can we say that love is everywhere when many of us have different definitions of it? How can we say that it is everywhere when all we see on the news are cruelties and crimes everywhere.

For me love doesn't depend on emotion but instead more of a commitment. Our feelings change rapidly and is dependent to what we see and what we experienced. If your loved one betrayed you or mistreated you suddenly the feeling of love that you have flies away. I guess it is not true love. Real love is something that you can compare to the love of a little child to his parents. Even if his dad or mom spunk him or did not give  him what he wanted still he would still continue loving them. A little child doesn't hold grudges like adults commonly do. But no matter what others say I would just continue loving and loving and loving... ^_^

Online Income

A lot of people are looking on ways how to make money online, earning money from adsense, or getting paid to post. I was introduced to blogging by my best friend last year. At first I tried google ads but  have no luck on it. Most of my incomes online are actually from paid post and CPC (Cost per Click). I also tried paid to review but also no luck on it.

For those who are new to blogging or planning to start a blog as a source of income you should have the patience. It is not an easy job. You should have patience in waiting for an assignment and in writing article about a certain topic. Silver Certified

Part of our job requirement is to be able to finish certifications. We are required to finish Bronze and Silver Certification at a certain deadline or else we can get warnings or can even lead to termination. I would say it is laziness if you get terminated because of not being able to finish it. The certifications comes in 3 process; Homework, Hands On and Online Test.

Homework - You need to answer list of question about a certain APC products

Hands On - This will test if you understand what you have answered on your home work because you will be ask to do things on the actual APC unit.

Online Test - just like the name you need to pass an online examination about the product

Bronze Certification is now part of the regularization process. So if you will not be able to finish it within 6 months you will not get regularized and you will be given an extension. I am not sure though how long. I was not able to finish my Silver before because of my maternity leave. I came back to work in September and thank God I was able to finish it earlier today. It is a relief on my side so I don't need to worry of anything else and can work at ease.

BDO Personal Loan Application Form

My post is not to discuss how to apply for a personal loan at BDO but rather the bad experience that I had just to get an application form.

I have a personal loan at Citifinancial. Their interest is quite high so I was thinking of transferring it to a different bank. Yesterday I decided to go to ATC (Alabang Town Center) to visit GE Money to inquire about the personal loan that they offer. Unfortunately, the branch there doesn't entertain loan application.

My son, David, is with me because I would bring him to his pedia at SM Southmall due to an on and off fever for 3 days already. We arrived early at SM so after our registration at the clinic I decided to visit BDO to inquire about getting a personal loan. When I entered the bank there was a queue and everyone are sitting on the chair. After one transaction is done you move to a another chair. It is already 1:30pm and David's doctor will arrive at 2pm. Everything is running smoothly until an old lady cut in to the line. I told myself , that is alright it is only a single person and it still early to go back to the clinic. Then the rep allowed another lady to cut into the line which kind a irritate me. After the guy in front of me  was done it was my turn. I am sitting in front of the customer rep who is very busy working on her computer. She did not even entertain me or ask what I needed. She just keeps on typing, walking around getting some papers etc. It is already 2:10pm and still she did not glance at me even for a second. What I did when the other customer rep is done with her client I approach her and ask if she can be of service. I told her I want to inquire about their personal loan. All she did was give a one piece of paper and said to submit it back with all the requirements.

I waited for 45mins just to get a piece of paper. I guess they could just give it to the guard and anyone can get the form in just a couple of seconds.

Another Vacation

Last June I was given an opportunity to have a 1 week vacation in Hongkong. I went there with my sisters in law to visit their mom, who is my mother in law, and also to have a vacation. It was a relaxing week. We stayed in the house where my mother in law is working and not in a hotel. The house is near the sea and I really love the fresh air coming from the deep water.

I was told by my husband that next year we might visit Hongkong but this time as a family. I am really excited! I hope we would be able to visit Disneyland because I am sure my little David would love it.

Golden Dragon Realty Scam

I was almost a victim of this broker, Golden Dragon Realty. In February of this year, my husband and I decided to look for a low cost housing. We met Ate Connie, an agent, who introduced us to Rommel Rote, manager of Golden Dragon. He was a broker for Summerpointe Subdivision. This is a bare house near Daang Hari Molino. The price is very affordable and they offer a discount during that day. Reservation is only 5k so I did not let the opportunity go.  My husband likes the 75 sq meter lot but it is not available. We were told to reserve for a 50 sq meter lot then we will transfer later when there is a slot available. He really is a sales person and talks very well. One thing I noticed he is quite hot tempered.

Every things goes well. I submitted all the requirements and after a month I started paying for the down payment. We were given a 75 sq meter slot which makes us happy. The problem started in May when I received a letter from Prosperity Builders, Summerpointe's developer. The letter was stating that I have one month arrears for my down payment. I was shocked because I see to it that I am paying monthly. My mom accompanied me going to Baclaran to visit Rommel. We were told to ignore the letter and there might be a delay from the developer. The only receipts that I have are from Dragon so we asked for the receipt coming from the developer.

They give us 3 receipts. 2 payments for my reservation and 1 down payment. I made a full reservation in February but the receipts that he gave me shows 2 payments for my down. 2k on February 2 and 3k on March 31 and my first down was paid on April 7. I ignore the dates on the receipts. It was now only that I realized that this is part of his scam. He doesn't pay the money of his client to the developer right away. So on my case the developer thought that I finished my reservation on the end March which is actually I am already paying for my DP.

I am fully paid with my DP when I received another letter that I still have arrears. My mom told me then to go to Prosperity first to get more info. We were told that they haven't receive any payment that is why we received a notification letter. Imagine I am done with my DP and my arrears is 2 months. We went to Rommel's office which nothing happened. To make the story short we went to Dragon several times to let them pay my arrears and not to mention for us to be transferred to a 75 sq meter lot. Yes, I paid for a DP for a 75 sq meter lot but then we find out that my account was not transferred. We were promised to different block and lot by Rommel but those were only drawings. Haaaysss, really a head ache.

The next letter that I received from Prosperity is asking me to pay for my monthly amortization and yet my housing loan is not yet approved by Pag-ibig. We went to Prosperity and we were told to right a letter asking for stop payment. Which didn't help because I receive another letter the next month asking for payment.

One night while I was at work, my agent, Ate Connie, send me a text message. She wants to confirm that all my receipts are from the developer. She told me that Dragon Realty closed and Mr Rommel Rote was gone. A lot of his clients who already made a payment was scammed. He took the money and did not pay it to the developer. Good thing we were able to forced him to pay for my 2 months DP but then I was not able to get back my overpayment for my DP. When I was at Prosperity I met a girl, an OFW, who was also a victim. Dragon did not pay the last 2 months of her DP and she purchased two lots.

Ate Connie said that the developer was trying to help those who are victims. To Rommel, you should have heart. We bought a low cost housing since we cannot afford buying a finished house then you will do this to us. You might have encounter a problem with your business but you should have give explanation to your client. You can get jail because of what you did. I am trying to understand your side that maybe you have a financial issue but you should have not enter realty business when you cannot handle it.

Wedding Preparation

Next year, February 9, 2010, will be our 5th year wedding anniversary. I still remember the day before we got married. The preparation is not that easy. We went to Divisoria to look for an affordable and yet elegant bridal gown. It is the same dress maker who made the gowns of our brides maid and flower girls. We need to bring all of them in Divisoria for the designer to measure their body size.

A lot of people helped us in the said event. My tita weng take care of my bouquet and the flowers of the little girls. And it is tita melet who take care of our wedding invitation. The invitation are color green, which is my wedding motif. My sister in law is the one who prepared the wedding video. Although the reception is held at Max's Restaurant, my parents also prepared food at home for those who will not be able to go there.

It was a tiring day yet it is one of the most important event in my life. I felt different emotions that day that is hard to explain. To my friend who is planning to get married next year, Congratulations!

David's Field Trip

Yesterday was my sons field trip. He was in nursery so I let my husband accompanied him. Supposedly it was me who should come but the school move the field trip to a different date. The original date was October 6, but because of the tragedy caused by storm Ondoy the school decided to change the schedule. I am somewhat frustrated because I file a live to be able to join my son and all of the sudden it was change. It is so hard to get a slot for leave in the office. One thing that frustrates me is that part of the field trip is going to Enchanted Kingdom. I haven't been there so I was excited to go.

We left our little girl, Rhaine Danielle, who is 3 months old to my mom because nobody will take  care of her since I am going to work. The night before the field trip, David, got a fever. I told my husband to give him paracetamol. I work at night so during my lunch break around 4am, I called Robin to wake him up and get ready for the field trip.

I will post some of the picture here once I get home and downloaded the pics from my camera. One more thing that is frustrating was I did not charge my digital camera so they were not able to take pictures at Enchanted. I hope before this year end I will be able to visit Enchanted Kingdom.

Rash Behind the Ear

My little girl has a rash behind her right ear. She is only 3 months old. I am a little worried because its been there for almost 2 weeks now. It looks a little scabby at times and sometimes it gets a little wet and then reddish. I guess it is itchy because there are time she would try to scratch it. I haven't bring her to the doctor thinking it will heal on its own but I guess not. I tried using betadine and putting petroleum jelly which did not help. Maybe next week I'll bring her to the doctor and I hope it will heal right away so that I can let her wear earrings.

"Singaw"

I had a painful Tuesday. It was because of "singaw" or also known as canker sore. I cannot talk and eat well. Too bad for me because it is located on the middle right side of my tongue. Every time I try to talk or chew, it hits my teeth which makes it really painful. I thought if I would have this sore for a month I would lose weight because I will not be able to eat well. If you take a look on it, it is like a yellow dot (like a pus) and has a red side like it is swelling. The hardest part of it is my job is to talk to customers over the phone. I thought of asking for permission not to take calls but they might think that I am over reacting. Good thing we don't have a lot of queue and I just bare the pain the whole shift.:-(

Updates Needed After Giving Birth

Just want to share what documents I processed after giving birth. I will only share things that you need to update after getting your SSS maternity benefit.

I give birth last July 10, 2009. After getting my SSS maternity benefit the next thing that came in my mind is enrolling my baby to get a healthcard at work. I was told that I need to wait for 90 days before I can do that. After 3 months I went to our clinic to apply for the additional HMO card. It was then I find out I still need to update a lot things. I was given different forms and here are the list below:

1. Philhealth M2 Data Form (2 copies) - to add my baby as an additional dependent
2. SSS Member's Data Ammendment Form (E4) - to add my baby as an additional dependent too
3. BIR Form 1902 (3 Copies) and BIR Form 2305 (3 Copies) - to update my Tax
(Note: For wife who are claiming the dependents you need to submit a waiver)
4. HMO application form

You will be needing multiple copies of your child's certified true copy of birth certificate. Also birth certificate of you and your spouse is needed to update your tax. I was also given a letter to request for a new copy of MDR (Member Data Record).

Getting Old

Alzheimer is a brain disorder that causes memory loss. Those who are getting old are the most common people who are getting this disease. In America it is the 7th leading cause of death. They say there is still no cure for the said ailment and it gets worse overtime.

I have mention before that my grandmother has this disease. I admire my tita for the patient that she has in taking care of grandma. I guess she was able to do it out of great love for her mom. A lot of people now who have aging parents doesn't have time to take care of them. I wonder what will happen to me when I grow old. I know my kids will have their own family that they need to take care of and which will be their first priority. Just in case this happens to me I hope my children will look for the best senior care to take care of me. I will understand it but I hope they would at least spare time to visit me.

I don't have sleep yet so I guess that is why I am thinking of things like this. But time pass by very fast and I getting old will be part of it.

Halloween Pumpkin Paper Craft

Halloween is very near. One of my officemate decided to make a pumpkin decor made of paper. I am not an artistic person but when I saw one of his finished product I was attracted to try it. At first look it seems like very easy to do. You just need to print the layout, cut it and paste.

Woola! my first product was a success. I was very happy because those who tried to do it did get a crumpled pumpkin when they put the cover on. We are making the pumpkins during our avail time. We are using colored papers to make different pumpkins. If you would like to try this just click on the link to get the layout. Struggle from Within

Rules are created to set limits. Without rules our world will be a disaster. It is use to set an expectation of what can happen if you do something. How would you feel when all of the rules given to you are all about punishment? It makes me feel like my world is getting small because of to much don'ts. If you are used to have a life with rules that are not being implemented seriously or not being followed all the time. And then all of the sudden everything changed, you will be reprimanded if you will not follow. Which do you think is better?

I believe rules are very important and it will be a mess without it. I guess I am just having a problem coping up. What I need to do is to look on the brighter side and think of it as if a discipline coming from a strict father. He is doing it for my own good. I just prayed that one day his approach will be change on how to influence me on how to become a better person.

Mystery Shopper

Have you heard of mystery shopper? It is a job wherein you act as a consumer and you will rate the quality of the product and the customer service of a certain company. I find this interesting that is why I send my resume when my friend told me about it.

Actually at first I send my husband resume and they reply that they would send the application form through courier. It came through LBC and when I read the form I decided to apply instead of my husband, hehehe. I haven't return the application yet since I need to do a pre-test. I need to go to either a grocery store, gas station or restaurant and answer some questions that they sent me.

I've been working as technical support for almost 4yrs now and part of my job is to give good customer service. Because of that I what I am doing I easily notice flaws from different establishment about their customer service and I get irritated if they don't provide good one. Yesterday I was in BDO to deposit a check. I was waiting on the line for about 15mins and when it was my turn the line was longer than before. The manager of the bank went out and ask where is the other teller. One of the teller said she was doing something. What the manager did was since there was only two line and there are 3 tellers serving, she divided the line to three. That's a good customer service that a manager is concern about the queue of the people waiting. While the tellers , I don't see any appreciation of what they manager did. All of them are not smiling and their eyes are just focus on their computer.

I hope I will be able to submit my application as soon as possible and be a mystery shopper. It looks like I am working as a spy, wow! I am really looking forward to be part of this cool job. If you are interested you can also send your resume to snc@mysteryshopper.com

Mafia Untraceable Cellphone

Mafia Wars is one of the application that I like in Facebook. In this war game you need to enhance your skills by leveling up. This can be done by doing jobs and fighting other players. Currently I am only level 93 and have 82 mafias.

My husband joined mafia wars but I don't know why he doesn't have option for properties to earn money. What he has is what you called racket. You need to gain influence to start a racket and wait for a certain period before you can claim the money. The money doesn't go in automatically, you need to click on it once the racket is completed.

While improving my mafia I got a problem finishing a certain job because I don't have enough untraceable cellphone. I thought I can lean on asking gift but then not. I searched online and I find out that I can get what I need by doing the job "Rob an Electronic Store" which is in the Enforcer Tier. Here I come I will be able to finish my jobs now and level up. Aion Online Game

I enjoy playing online games. Most of the games that I played are browser games, mind games, action, war games etc. But what I like the most are RPG (Role Playing Games) and MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online). I find it not boring because you interact and play with different people either nationwide or worldwide. Through this type of game you gain what we call "cyber friends." People whom you always chat with and seems like you know each even if you haven't seen each other. Although it is the people you meet that makes you attached with the game, how the game works also plays a big part on why people stick on a certain RPG or MMO.

I was once addicted to RAN ONLINE it's an RPG/MMO. You play as a student and you need to select from 3 campuses. The different classes that you can choose from are swordsman, brawler, archer and shaman. You need to level up yourself by killing mobs. To level up faster you need to join party with other students. Joining a clan and having clan war is one part of the game that I enjoy.

I saw online about this MMO game called aion. The game is a battle about two races called Elyos and Asmodians in a world called Atreia. Elyos live in the lower half of the shattered world of Atreia while Asmodians live on the upper half. It is like a battle between light and darkness. Elyos dwell in light and warmth and blessed with elegance and beauty while the Asmodians living in a harsh world have pointer claws and shows no mercy to their enemies.

This game looks very interesting. When create a character you need to select from four aion classes which are warrior, scout, mage and priest. Warriors utilize great physical strength and prowess. Scout play styles of all the basic classes. Mage rely on magic to deal large amount of damage and are long range. Customizing Internet Explorer

Most of us are using Internet Explorer or IE in browsing the web. It is because mostly our operating system is Windows. Even though a lot of people are using it not everyone knows how to customize it.

My job before was a software support specialist for Windows. One thing I notice then was a lot of callers don't know how to change home page and other option that IE offers. Home page is helpful so once you open your browser it opens the website that you visit very often.

If you have a hard time reading text on the web because you find it too small you can adjust the text through IE's tool bar. Simply click on View>Text Size and select the font size that you wanted. Other reason of having a hard time reading text over the web is the font and colors of the text. This can easily be changed by going to Tools>Internet Option then under General Tab click on Colors. In this option we can also change the color of hyperlink. It is called the visited and unvisited link.

Either you are using IE at home or at work knowing how to customize it will be very helpful.

This Copy of Windows is Not Genuine

One of my friend at work told me she was getting an error on her computer. She mention that she was getting a message about Windows not genuine and being a victim of software counterfeiting. I told her I will format her computer and reinstall Windows.

Above is the pop up message she was getting on the lower right corner of her desktop as soon as she logged in to Windows. Me being a tech support for Dell before I remember fixing that error by deleting a specific registry. While she was making a back up of her files by moving it to the secondary drive on her computer I tried to search for a solution. I would like to avoid doing an OSRI (Operating System Reinstallation) because it consumes a lot of time. I found the solution and here is the registery that you need to delete. By the way, this is for Windows XP. Go to registry editor by typing regedit on the run command of windows. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify and then delete WgaLogon folder and all of its content. Reboot the computer and tada! its back to normal. She told me when she started getting that error she was not able to change her wall paper and that was fix too.

Just like what I have in my profile I am not a good writer and I really don't read a lot. My best friend, who is a blogger, encouraged me to try it instead of spending my whole day playing online games. She told me that you can get paid to blog. At first I was not attracted not until she told me that she will withdraw her earnings.

At first, my only motive was to earn but then now I like it. I find it fun to share your thoughts and ideas. I also love and enjoy reading blogs of my friends and unknown people. It makes me updated of what is going with their lives and also I am getting update about current news and other "chikas". Others would ask how would you earn through blogging? Well it is through advertising on your blog. Company will ask a blogger to promote their website or product on their blog so in that way they will have more promotion. Friendster vs Facebook

I am registered to both Friendster and Facebook. I had FS for a while and FB just a month ago. Before I used to view friends in FS and see how they are doing. I enjoy watching pictures about them. It makes me updated of what is going on. But then I got tired of using it and I myself no longer update my profile as well.

Last month while I was on ML I decided to register in FB. At first glance it doesn't look user friendly or attractive. But then after few days of using it I got addicted. Wew! I love online games and I do enjoy the different applications in FB like Restaurant City, Mafia Wars, Farmville, Streetracing etc. Also I like it for being interactive. You can write what is on your mind and all your friends will see it and will be able to react. There is also built in chat which is good if you wanted to have a private talk with someone. Uploading videos and photos is also one feature that I like. I rarely open my FS now and every day I am looking forward to open my FB to level up my Restaurant, make sure my farm is ok and of course to get update and chikas from friends.

I once lived in Paete, Laguna where I met this beautiful lady named Rochelle "Apple" Cajipe.   I was in grade 5 then. Every day we used to play chinese garter, touch taya etc. After one year my family decided to go back to Pasay City where I grew up and close our bakery business there.

I did not lost communication with her. I think internet is not available yet and used of computer is not that popular unlike now. We exchange letters through snail mail for more than a year. I don't know what happen and we lost communication. I do miss her and wonder what she is up to now.

I tried searching her in MyLife and I found one result in Metro Manila Philippines. I guess she no longer lived in Laguna and moved to Manila. I was not able to view her profile because during the free registration it is asking for a US zip code. I did not proceed even if I think I can put any US zip.
