A Date with David

Usually when either David or Rhaine has a check up it would all of us who will visit the pedia. But then last Sunday it is only me and David. He needs a follow up to make sure that he no longer have a UTI. We leave early so that he can have urinalysis before his check up. We arrived at SM Southmall at around 10:15am and had his urinalysis. We were told to go back at around 12pm for the result. He is number 11 on the queue but Dra. Estorninos haven't arrived yet. I asked David if he wants to eat at Jollibee since he love the gravy and fried chicken there. Wow! to my surprise he requested for KFC, he said he wanted to have krushers chocolate flavor. I saw that they have a new flavor of krushers which is banana chocolate so I tried that. He did not like it that much. He was not able to consumed it all unlike if I order him oreo flavor. But still he loves the chicken with gravy.

After eating we bought Rhaine's milk and decided to go back to his pedia. But then he said he would like to go to Toy Kingdom to buy toy. Its a good thing that he always agree to buy cheap ones. I told him we don't have enough money to buy expensive toy. We bought a small billiard set for only P100. He is very happy and that makes me smile too. Its only 11:30am and I decided to go back to the lab to see maybe the result for his urinalysis is done. I was able to get it but the doctor just came in. She is only at number 2 so it it still a long way to go. Good thing we brought his Nintendo DS so he has something to play with while waiting. There was a little boy watching and talking to him while we are waiting on the couch. I guess after almost an hour his name was called. Dra. Estornins says he already recovered from UTI. I consulted if tetra pack juice and soft drinks can cause that. She said you cannot get UTI from food. Usually it is caused by germs or bacteria that goes to the urinary tract. Since David is not yet circumcise he is more prone of having germs/bacteria at the tip of his "bird." Her advised is to wash well the tip of his "bird" when he takes a bath also told David not to hold on when he feels like peeing. We went home after that and David fall asleep on the way home.

Maxicare Covers Warts Removal

Last Sunday we went to Casa Medica at SM Southmall for Rhaine to have her chickenpox vaccine. While waiting on the queue Robin said he would ask a derma if they could remove the moles (which I thought) on his neck and chest and to see if it will be covered by Maxicare. He already had a check up before and was schedule for removal but then the doctor is unavailable. Also his doctor before doesnt seem nice. This time its a girl again but compare to the doctor before this one is very nice. He was asked to contact Maxicare for approval. He was told that P2000 will be covered. The session cost P2500 so I still need to pay for the P500. I told him to proceed with it.

The doctor put a white cream all over his neck, chest and underarms where there are warts (according the doctor) and put a big transparent tape. It was an anesthesia because later the doctor will burn them. (ouch!) We ate at Jollibee first since he needs to wait for an hour before the procedure. People are looking him because of the big tape on his neck and he also has once tape on his left eye. The doctor said the wart on his eye and finger is free, i mean no extra charge, yey! We went back to the clinic after an hour and the doctor started burning them. Robin said the device looks like a small tool for burning metal. He doesn't feel anything but he said the one on his finger hurts. The doctor even injected anesthesia on it. After more than 30mins they are done. Those brown looked like moles before are now all black, they are burned. I can still see them and they are more noticeable because of the black color but the doctor said it would fall on its own. He was told not to scratch them to avoid infection. He was given a liquid soap, 7 days antibiotic and a cream. We will visit the doctor after a month.

Gab's 3rd Birthday

Last Saturday morning after my shift we went straight to Cuenca, Batangas. We need to commute because Kuya Dennis has a trip in Bicol using our van. Good thing we are able to carry all our things without a big of hassle. It was me and my husband, my two kids, my mom and Joanna (my sister in law) and her kid Josua. I think we have around 9 or ten bag plus a small baby crib. Hahaha! We met tito Joe in Alabang and he help us in carrying some bags when we stopped in Lipa. I can't really imagine how we were able to bring everything. The crib almost broke because the screw got losen and loose the plastic cap. Good thing it was still ok.

We stay at lola's house for the night and went to Endaya Cove the next morning. Last year Gab also celebrated his birthday there. Every one enjoyed the beautiful view, the food and of course the pool. My husband stay up to 2am swimming. He enjoys the company of my cousins. When evening comes we are visited by bats. I thought it was birds flying and soaring in the pool. It was the first time I saw a lots of bats flying around. One of them got caught in the pool. I'll post a picture later. It is really relaxing to be with nature and of course with your family. I was able to rest well and unwind after a week of stress at work.

By the way, Gab is my tito Joe's 1st child. He turns 3yrs old and talks a lot. He is so cute and really love sswimming. On contrary my David, who is 5 (this coming June), is afraid of the pool. He just stays on the stairs where he can sit down and walk. I am looking forward to another family event on July, this time it is my lola's birthday.

To Gab Happy Birthday!

Mother's Day

Today is mother's day and I want to greet my mom, Luz Endaya Apuntar, Happy Mother's Day! Truly nothing can compare to a mother's love to his kids. I really appreciate every little things that she does. Now that I am a mother too, I understand her more and I also have that special kind of love to my kids.

Later we will visit her again. Actually we sleep over there last night. We are planning to cook spaghetti and I am thinking of buying a cake. I hope I will not forget my camera to have some pictures. We will stay overnight since we are going to the same school tomorrow for the upcoming election.

Long Weekend

Yehey! It is going to be a long weekend for me. I am on vacation leave tomorrow and on Friday plus Saturday and Sunday days off. Weeee! I wonder what to do. Actually I file a leave because it is my birthday on Friday and my husband's birthday on Saturday. Lucky for us because our birthday are in a consecutive days so we can do it in just one celebration. Lesser expenses. (lol!)

Every year what we usually do is just cook pansit or spaghetti and enjoy it with our family. My sister in law never miss to bring birthday cakes during our birthday. And take note she buys two cakes for us, hehehe. (Thanks Weng!) This coming Saturday we are planning to have an overnight swimming with my husband's friends. It is not yet sure but one of his friend said he will bring food and all we need to pay for is just the cottage. That is a good deal. I'll just make another post of our birthday celebration.

Happy Birthday to me and to my Mahal!

Out of my Mind

Last Sunday I was really out of my mind. It was November1 and most people are in the cemetery visiting their loved ones. I was thinking it was a normal day. I told my husband that we will bring Danielle to her Pedia to have a vaccine. Her doctor's clinic is at SM Southmall with a schedule of 11am - 4pm. We arrived at SM before 10am so that we can have Danielle listed early. Her doctor have a lot of patients, if we will not arrive early we will end up waiting for about 2hours on the queue.

Well, there are a lot of people waiting for the opening of SM which is normal. We went to other side of the mall where you can enter if you are going to the the clinic, Casa Medica. To our suprise we were told that both SM and the clinic will open at 12noon. It was then I realized that it is a holiday.

We decided then to eat at Jollibee near SM and wait hoping that her doctor will also arrive. You are right, the doctor is not there. We just bought a new keyboard and buy David an ice cream then we went home. I guess me and my husband are both out of our mind. He did not remind me that it is a holiday.

Chicken Marinade

Ingredients:

chopped crushed garlic
ground pepper
salt
soysauce
vinegar
chopped chicken

Mixed all ingredients and refrigerate. Me I prefer to have a lot of pepper and garlic but its up to you. You can also used this for porkchop or liempo. This is good either for fried or grilled. Yummy! This is what we had for dinner today.

(6th day of my ML) David is still with my mom. I did nothing today but play dota and of course using my favorite hero, morphling. If you have GG client you can add me, dheiyzhie12.

Busy Weekend

Every year Endaya Clan hold a reunion in Cuenca, Batangas. This time I will not be able to attend because our team decided to held a baby shower for me. Also my husband interview is reschedule today. We are not sure yet where we are going to celebrate. I felt bad because my camera is still with the store for repair. I'll make another post about the baby shower.

Tomorrow is my nephew's 2nd birthday and it will be held in my tito's resort Endaya Cove. My husband and I will leave early in the morning tomorrow to attend the birthday celebration. We need to be back by Monday morning because I have an appointment with my OB. Thank God and its a US holiday on Monday so I don't have to report to work.

Broken Camera

It was a Sunday and it's our family day.  Most of the time after attending church service in CCF Alabang we would eat somewhere usually Jollibee (my little boy's favorite) and stroll in the mall.  I decided to bring my camera that day so that I can take pictures of us.

My mom, who always attends church with us, said we could visit Pag-ibig even on Sunday, so that we can see the house improvement loan being offered by the subdivision where I bought a house.  Their office is in Baclaran.  We rode a jeep going there and because we are on a hurry we did not notice that the jeep's signboard is not Baclaran Coastal.  The travel is longer in the middle of the hot sun and to our catastrophe, the jeep also have a flat tire.  It did not stop to have it vulcanize but I think we stop for at least 5 times to put air in it. Haaaysss @_@!

After I think an hour of travel or more we arrived in Baclaran.  Engr. Raven showed us different plans and designs that can be down in our house.  It also includes some sample pictures.  It was very interesting.  My husband and I like the idea of having one room in the atique and extend the kitchen.  We might apply for this house improvement and by God's blessing hope to move there by next year. Yehey!

After that we went to SM Mall of Asia.  The place is too crowded as usual because it's a weekend.  We decided to stop by at Pizza Hut and have something to eat.  While waiting for our table I took my camera out.  Too my surprise the LCD is broken! I can't believe it because I actually used it last Friday and I don't remember any incident that my camera falls or something.  The LCD is so bright that you can't see image on the screen and there were some lines.  My camera has a hard casing as well to protect it. Huhuhu!

I bought the camera as a gift to myself last Christmas and I am still paying for it.  I think it does have a 1-year warranty so I will bring it to Casio Service Center, which is very very far from our home.  When I look in the box their service center is in Quezon City.... waaaaaa.  I hope they would fix my camera under the warranty.  It quite saddened my weekend. :-(

You Changed My Life - Sarah Geronimo & John Lloyd

Last year I was able to watch "A Very Special Love" featuring Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. I remember I watched it with my friends Annette, Pinky and Ime. We celebrated Pinky's Birthday then, we ate and watched the movie. It was so great, funny , very entertaining, heart warming and "nakakakilig."

When I find out that there is a sequel of the movie entitled "You Changed My Life", I told my husband that I want to watch it. So last Sunday after the church service, we visited Summerpointe subdivision first. That is where we bought a house, I'll post some info about it maybe next time. After that we went to SM Molino where we met my brother , Darwin. My mom took my son, David, home so we couple were able to watch the movie. Yehey!

Just as expected, the movie was good and really a must see one. You will be able to appreciate it more if you were able to watch "A Very Special Love." The first movie is the story of how they end up at each others arms while the 2nd one is when they struggle with their relationship because of Miggy's (John Lloyd) work. Laida (Sarah) was very funny and John Lloyd was so cute. It made me cried and laugh while watching it.

The memorable part of the movie is their cellphone's ringtone "Bebe ko" and the "Super Hug" of Sarah.

For those in the look out for the “Bebe Ko” ringtone they share in the movie, it’s said to be now available to all smart, globe and sun subscribers. Here are the codes:

Text TRU BEBE1 to 2366 (to get Miggy’s “bebe ko”)
Text TRU BEBE2 to 2366 (to get Laida’s “bebe ko”)

Part 2: My Mom's 54th Birthday

It was a simple celebration held yesterday in Batangas at Endaya Cove. I got off from work at 6am and I went home first before leaving. My mom and relatives went there very early. I think they left at 5am using my Tito Peter's vehicle. My husband (Robin), my kid (David), my nephew (RA) and I went to Alabang to rode a bus going there.

Cuenca, Batangas is the exact location. We rode the bus going to Batangas Pier since buses that passes Cuenca is not available in Alabang. Supposedly it should be two rides from Alabang but we find out that there is a bridge being renovated so it took us three rides instead.

We arrived there at around 12 in the afternoon. My cousins were already there swimming since morning. We ate our lunch first and the three boys (Robin, David and RA) enjoyed the swimming pool until we go home. I am 5 months pregnant and I am not in the mood of swimming. Seeing them enjoying the pool is already fun for me.
On my first post about my mom's birthday I was asking what can I give to my mom as a present. Because of having both no time and money I was not able to bring anything. Though that is the case I knew my presence is already a happiness for her.

Stilt Men or Bwa bwa

Earlier this afternoon we went to the mall (SM Southmall) because my mom wants to buy a new bed.  I was very sleepy because I came straight from work but that's alright because its already weekend. While strolling, my son David, saw this tall man in front of Story Land.  He was very amazed because the size of the man was like double the height of a person, as you can see in the picture.  Like other kids he doesn't want to go near it.

I was thinking during that time what do you call this tall guy.  I know they are mostly seen in carnivals or amusement parks but I really don't know how do you call them.  They look like a clown because they also have painting on their face but I guess they are not called clown. So after sleeping for about 4 hours I browse the web and search Mr. google. I found out that they are called stilt man, stilt walker or "bwa bwa."  Its really amazing how this guys was able to balance on a wooden wood for long hours. So next time we see them we can say , "Hey look there is a bwa bwa."
Here is a picture of my Husband and my son beside a bwa bwa with a pirate costume.
