My Favorite "Sawsawan"

We Filipinos love eating and "sawsawan" is one thing that we like the most. It makes the food even better. Just want to share my all time favorites with you... hehehe!

1. patis (fish sauce) with calamansi with sili
- i love this with sinigang, nilaga, tinola, bulalo and the likes...

2. toyo (soy sauce) with calamansi with sili again
- this one i love with fried dishes like fish and pork. Its also good for bulalo. Also good for pork inihaws like liempo

3. catsup
- usually for breakfast like hotdogs, eggs, emobutido, tortang talong... etc.

4. catsup + vinegar
- i learned from one of my office mate, this is good for tapsilog and other fried dishes.

5. vinegar + cruched garlic + ground pepper + sili
- this is also good for fried fish especially fried "tawilis", small fish usually available in Batangas.
- also good for chicharon (crunchy!)

6. sliced tomatoes + sliced onion + soy sauce + calamansi + sili
- this is good for inihaw like tilapia and bangus

7. vinegar + sliced onion + crushed garlic + ground pepper + sili
- i like this with fried tokwa and lumpiang togue... this is what I have when I eat lugaw... ^_^

8. suka + toyo + sliced onion + sili (this is if calamansi is not available)
- also good for fried and inihaw
