MOA Day with my Best of Friends

At last after several plans... first it was in June, Annette's B-day, then in August, Pinky's bday, then in November my b-day. Finally we are able to make our schedules meet. It just so sad that Pinky need to go home early, anyway its still a great day and I'm so happy to have friends like you guys in my life... Love you all!!! Muah!!

Long Lost Friend

When I started using Facebook I get hook to it easily and forget about my friendster account. Once in a while I would still open my friendster but I no longer update it. I love the wall post, the live chat, sharing of pics and photo, tagging, different applications.... I am really enjoying facebook. I used to watch pictures of my highschool and college friends, relatives and previous officemates. Its fun to see how they are doing now. Some are now working abroad, some look fabulous, some already have kids, some are just having fun and some just stay the same. I enjoy watching their pictures and some pictures of the past. 

Last week to my surprise my "kababata" (childhood friend), Apple, added me as a friend. She was my playmate when our family move to Paete Laguna to try our luck in bakery. We stayed there for one year and eventually go back to Pasay where we used to live. I was in grade 5 then. There is already computer but it is not as popular as now. We used to play chinese garter, sipa and touch taya. When we move back to Pasay we still have our communication through regular mail. It was fun reading letter from a friend. I think I still have her letters somewhere in our house. I don't know what happen why we stopped the communication. She is now a grown up lady and still single. I know she will grow up as a beautiful girl. Too bad my computer at home got broken so I am unable to access my Facebook account as often as I wanted. I hope I would still meet other long lost friend that I have, maybe someone from elementary.

Visit to Johan

After our shift last Saturday I went straight to Bulacan. Even though I am tired, no sleep yet I am excited to see my sis or girl friends. Our friendship started when I was in college. We rarely see each other after graduation but the friendship is still there. Pinky give birth to a healthy baby boy name Johan read as Yohan last January 20. Supposedly we should visit her last February but due to personal reasons we are not able to visit her. 

It was quite a long trip for me since she lives in the north while me lives in the south. My shift ends at 8am in the morning and I met with Annete and Ime in Robinson Ortigas. We left there at around 11am and go to Cubao where we rode a bus going to Cabantuan. We had more than an hour trip going to Plaridel Bulacan. 

Pinky is still pretty as she is. She doesnt really gain weight , just a little tummy which I believe she can burn with few exercise and diet. Baby Johan is so cute and cuddly. He got her complexion from her mom and he looks like his grandfather from his dad's side looking at his picture. I haven't meet  his dad so I cannot really tell if he looks like him. But at that age you cannot really tell. Maybe when he gets 1 or 2 yrs old we will be able to tell whose blood is thicker. 

It was a good reunion. We shared different stories and enjoy chit chatting. Pinky let us brought home indian mangoes from their tree. We will go back there is coming April for baby Johan baptism.

Congrats Pinky

Yesterday morning I received a text message from Pinky. She said she is already at the hospital due to bleeding. I know its already her due date and if my memory is right she told me her ML will start on January 20. After that text message I never heard from her again. Last night while I was waiting for our shuttle I decided to send her a message to check how she was. She said she gave birth late afternoon to a healthy baby boy whom she named Johan Gabriel.

Congrats Pinky!!! We are planning to visit you soon.....

New Moon

Just like what Anet said I am a late bloomer, hehehe. Everyone are going gaga over Twilight Saga and here I am doesn't know anything. Actually until now I haven't finished book 1. I just read half of it and got a short story telling from Anet. The author of the book, Stephanie , really have a good imagination. I wonder where she gets it. I read online that she started to write the book when she had a dream about a girl and a vampire. (To Anet, di ba my facebook kna? Andun po mga pics natin).

Relyenong Bangus

Here is a picture of Relyenong Bangus that I asked Anet to bring. I think I was still pregnant when I first got a taste of her special relyenong bangus. Actually she brought 2 of these but I forgot to take a picture right away. We are really starving when Anet and Ime arrived. I think it is past 12 noon already when we started  eating.

Ime texted me and said she has gastritis and she cannot eat oily food. Sad for her she will not be able to eat the yummy milk fish. Good thing I also bought "litson manok" from Sr. Pedro. She eat the chicken  meat but not allowed to eat the skin which has more flavor.

After lunch we planned to go to SM Southmall to watch New Moon. I told them I only started reading book one last Monday, hehehe. I've read half of the book so I only have a little info. Before leaving Anet give me a more info about Twilight. She told me how each of the member of the Cullens Family turned into a vampire. I'm really not into reading but I find book really interesting. Meeting Old Friends

Later I will have lunch at my moms house with my college friends, Ime and Anet. Pinky said she will not be able to come since it is her niece birthday. She said maybe we can schedule another time before Christmas. We haven't seen each other for a while and we've been planning this get together for a few months now. Since all of us are working we need to schedule a time wherein all of us are available. Me and Anet have the same days off which is Saturday and Sunday. It took a while to set the date since every time Ime file a VL for a Saturday it always get declined. Finally she got approval for today and I am hoping to have good time with them. Actually their main agenda is to visit my little girl Rhaine Danielle since they haven't seen her. After lunch we will go the mall and maybe watch movie or just stroll around. See yah guys!

August 1 Visit

I would like to give thanks to Nelly and Mitch for the visit last August 1. Supposedly Sheena is also there but I don't know why she was not able to come. Anyway, we had breakfast and some chitchat at my mom's house.

Brunch in North Park Alabang Town Center

It's pay day and my friends at work talked about food as always and decided to eat breakfast somewhere. I said breakfast because its about 8am in the morning. At first we are not decided where to eat. I even thought it would end up to nothing because we don't know where to go. Then we decided to go to North Park in Alabang Town Center, which is very much in favor to me, Lyndon and TL Mel because it is near our home. All the way from EPZA Rosario Cavite off we go to ATC.

The travel time was paid off with the yummy food that we ordered. If my memory is right we ordered 2 plates of yang chow, 2 salted garlic squid, mushrooms and brocolli, lemon chicken, 2 lechon macau, siomai and 2 fresh prawn dumplings. It sounds like a lot just for the 6 of us (me, Lyndon, Mel, JC, Vic and Judy) but we were able to finish everything.

The food is quite expensive but its worth it. My 6months belly felt like almost 8months hehehe. Anyways after eating they have their usual "yosi break." Then I decided to go ahead and I left them their. Its already 11am and I'm so full that I can no longer eat when I came home so I consider that meal as "brunch" (breakfast and lunch). It was really fun eating with friends.

One day while I am removing trash of receipts and papers in my wallet I saw this tWibbles Collector Cards. I have two of these, Clippety (a brown horse) and Buckey (a offwhite hare).

tWibbles is a Friendship Collectible item. It comes with identical pair of small keychain like stuff toy and a collector's card. You keep one and trade one to your friend. I remember I got this from Toy Kingdom in SM Southmall while my bestfriend, Annette, and me are strolling in the mall. Its on sale and I think we got it for only P50 , hehehe.

Both of us buy one and trade our twibbles, I can't remember which one I bought, Clippety or Bucket. I have them on top of our refrigerator still inside the box and everytime I see it, it reminds me of my best friend. I tried visiting their site which is www.twibbles.com but the website is no longer valid.
