Rhaine's 3rd Birthday

Today is my daughter's 3rd birthday. When I ask her what she wanted to do on her birthday, she just said sing happy birthday and blow candle on her cake. Haaysss.... kids at this age are really innocent. Simple things makes them happy. She's so funny, lovable and fun to be with. She actually makes our house lively and colorful. Although sometimes she gives me head ache because of so much "kakulitan."

Will have a liitle celebration later. Robin will cook spaghetti and I already prepared fruit salad. Nanay said she would bring ice cream and Tita Weng will buy her a cake. This cake will fulfill her birthday wish, hehe. Anyways she also likes to have an Ipad just like his brother. I told her when she turn 7 years old. That's 4 years from now I wonder if Ipad is still available or there maybe a better gadget.

Thank you Lord for my wonderful kids!

New Ipad

At last, last Saturday the Ipad that I cancelled online was credited back to my credit card. Exactly after 15 days, wew. We went to SM Southmall then to see if they offer a better installment terms. Anyway, they only have 3 months 0% plan, same thing in SM Bacoor. David changes his mind and decided to have a color black model instead of the white one. Its better late than never. This is David's 7th birthday gift, 9 days after his birthday. I haven't taken a picture of it, maybe one day and I'll post here. I'm starting to like it too and hoping to have one as well, hehe. Not in my budget anymore, anyway I can always borrow his. 

Chicboy's Halo-halo

Miami won again, making it 3-1 against OKC. Hehehe, my officemate Lloyd lost and got to pay Josh a steak meal at Chicboy. I am still full then so I decided to have a taste of their halo-halo for P75. It has a vanilla ice cream on top. The ube and leche flan taste good. However, when I started eating it... urgh... it only has 2 pcs of langka and the rest are beans and pinipig plus crushed iced with milk. It would have been better if I just bought one scoop of ice cream for P35. I don't recommend it, not a good deal.

Refund from Apple Store

It was good to know that Apple offers free engraving on their units when you purchased it online plus free shipping too. I decided then to order David's request for an Ipad 2. However, upon submission I noticed that the estimated delivery date is June 25 and my son's birthday is on the 21st. I was able to cancel and even receive a confirmation email that the cancel was successful and I will not be charge for it. I immediately check my credit card online and did not see any charges. 

The following day, (June 16) Saturday, we decided to visit Power Mac at SM Bacoor to buy the Ipad. My son was very excited, I even asked him to test it. I even choose a finger print protector for it. The sales lady says there was a communication error and asked me to call my bank. Well, to my surprise I was charged by Apple! Waaaaa, my limit is no longer enough to buy the Ipad in the store. We tried calling their toll free number, 1-800-1441-0234 and 1800-0651-0525 and they are not available. I guess because its a weekend. Huhuhu, I wonder how long would it take to get my refund from Apple. Another problem is we don't have a landline and I can't call toll free number using my cellphone, urgh. I'll try to find a way to contact them, I hope I will get the refund on or before David's birthday.

Lunch at Sbarro

This is a late post actually. I'm just browsing through the pictures I have on my phone and saw this. This was last mother's day. After attending Sunday service at CCF Alabang we went to Southmall to have lunch. Its 12 in the afternoon and most of the restaurants are full. We are already hungry and saw Sbarro with tables outside available so that's where we decided to eat. 

Angus Cheese Steak for Robin. Its yummy but I find it "nakakaumay" I guess because of too many spices.

Schneider Electric Goes to Virgin Island Resort

Last May 5, was our company's summer outing. Its a good thing this time the resort is reserved just for SE employees, unlike last year which is too crowded. Although the day is short I would say it is fun. Although I was not able to completely loose wait... I was able to have the guts to wear swimsuit, hehe. Here are some of our pics.

Bad Customer Service of Sun Cellular at SM Bacoor

I've been there twice and both of my experience are really a head ache. I just visited them because I went somewhere and SM Bacoor is on my way. The first time I visited them was to ask for a change on my sister-in-law billing address which is under my name. I different plan under my name for my family. I've done it before so I know its possible. It surprises me when the lady says that all of the plan under will be change. I told her I've done it before. She really doesn't know what she is doing. At the same time all of the employees there are chit chatting and doesn't show any concern at all to the customers. This lady go inside a room I don't why and came back. Work on her computer and did not give me any paper showing the change of billing address. I'm already pissed off with her, in the first place she doesn't know what she is doing and nobody cares anyway.. none of them. Urgh... after two months I find out that nothing was change and worst of all I did not receive the bill for two months. 

Next visit was to make a payment. I just paid our Meralco bill so I decided to visit them again to make a payment. When I enter their store.... same scenario... the employees where chitchatting, laughing... as if there is no customers. There is one woman waiting in front of the cashier and she was doing something I don't know and we are told to wait. She doesn't even explain what's happening. I thought its gonna be quick.. another customer came in. It's like around 10-15mins and still the line is not moving. All the time while we are waiting they are chatting and doesn't even care there are people waiting. I just left and they don't even bother. 

I hope the management of Sun will do something about this. I've been your subscriber for almost 5 years and actually thinking to get a Globe wifi instead for our internet connection maybe by next month. If I will get better service from them then I might transfer our phone plan as well. 

Never Assume

"It's disappointing when your manager sees you as someone who is only applying for a post because you wanted to get out of the phone. It's demoralizing."


An effective leader should never assume. You should carefully observe what are your people wants and needs. Anyways.... I have to pick up and myself and continue dreaming... continue flying.... this will never stop me to go through my journey towards success. ^_^

Supermoon 2012

Last Sunday (May 6) we stayed at my mom's house and that is the said date wherein the supermoon will be visible. This is when the moon is about 14% larger and 30% brighter. This happens when its full moon and its closest to earth. My dad says he woke up around 3am and was able to see the beauty of it. I sleep early so I was not able to see it. Its around 6am the next day when I check the sky and this is what I saw.
