Another Bad Experience with Citibank

I posted before about BDO vs Citibank service and I voted for Citibank as a better one. But then this is the 2nd time that I've encountered bad service with them.  This time my problem all started when they upgraded my credit card to titanium. For almost three years I don't have any problem accessing my account online. However after they change my card I can no longer access it. Even the e-bill that they are sending me I am unable to open. I requested online for them to send me my cash advanced pin so that I can register again but it's been almost a month and I haven't receive anything. I was able to access what I need to using the quick inquiry online and I said this would be good for me for the meantime. But after the last update on their website I can no longer check my account even on quick inquiry. Both my credit card are not working. I tried to re-register since I was able to find my cash pin but it doesnt accept it, I guess because I have a new cc. I visited Citibank in Madrigal but since I am too early the guard just asked me to call the hotline. I talked to a young lady named Lye and she said she would send me my new cash pin and I should get in within 5-7 banking days. I hope this would fix my problem because I have no way to check how much my bill at all without calling them.

The "U" in Jesus Poem

This poem was shared by Ptr. Joby last Sunday and just wanted to share it to you as well. Let us share the love of Jesus to others.

THE "U" IN JESUS

Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God even stuck U in the name of His Son.
And each time U pray, you'll see it's true
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.

You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.
And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan.
The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.
Go into the world and tell them it's true That I love them all -
Just like I love U.

So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?
It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know
But it all starts with U. --

Energen Cereal Drink for Diet

Well, well, well.... diet.. diet... diet. After giving birth to my 2nd child I became bigger than before. I really hate it and I admit that it affects my self confidence. One thing that really disappoints me is when I see a blouse or a pants that I really like then nothing would fit, urgh! Seeing my belly in mirror is also disappointing me... lol! Anyway, it is almost two years since I last give birth and I guess it's now time to try again to diet. Wow... just like other's I don't know if it will work or how long can I take it. Well I started by buying cereal drink. First I thought of eating quaker oats but I tried that before and I was not able to do it for too long. Then I saw this Energen Cereal Drink. My plan it to avoid eating rice. I work at night and before I used to eat rice before going to bed in the morning, now I would just drink energen and go to sleep. Sometime I would eat tuna and crackers plus energen. It's been a week now since I started and don't feel any changes yet but what I notice is that I don't crave that much for food. I still eat rice when we go out but if there are other choices I avoid it. I did not check my weight when I started but my main goal is actually to lessen the bulge on my belly. Haaysss... I don't know if this will work without doing any exercise at all. Anyway I hope at least it would help a little

Weekend Get Away

Last Saturday we went to Endaya Cove to have a swim. It is also to celebrate the birthday of my Tito Pacing. The water is too cold and I did no stay in the pool for that long. Anyway my two kids enjoyed it a lot. The following day we went to Tagaytay to try our luck again in ukay-ukay. Hehehe.... good for me, for only P540 I was able to buy 2 pants, 2 jacket and a maong skirt. Some people find it cheap but for me I enjoy it. I remember I was fitting a black slacks and when I closed the zipper which is on the side, all the sudden it got broken. I can no longer open it and unable to remove the pants. I am alone in the dressing room since my mom is still digging for clothes. I tried to open the zipper to the best that I could, I am already perspiring and decided to add more force and until I totally break it. Bad me, I returned it to the tons of clothes there. But why would I pay for a pants that already has bad zipper on it. Anyway that is just one of my memorable experience in ukay-ukay. After that we went to my brother's house to have lunch. We are supposed to eat in Tagaytay with our packed lunch but we already passed the place where we can rent table. It is still a yummy lunch, I enjoyed the pinaputok na tilapia.

Let There Be Light

Sylvania 15172 65-Watt 130-Volt BR30 Indoor Flood, 6 PackI was taking in calls at work yesterday when my mom keeps on calling me. I think I got 3 missed call and after my shift I texted her. She called me back and told me that they visited our house and saw that Meralco already installed our meter. At last after going back and forth to Meralco, "Munisipyo of Imus" and to our house, we now have electricity. We are planning to move there hopefully next month. We already paid for the installation of water too. Our next plan is to have grills on our windows and replace the front door with a better one. We still need a lot of home improvement to do and having a light is definitely a good start.

Ukay-ukay in Olivares Tagaytay

It was my mom's birthday after our clan reunion. We did not have a special celebration for it unlike last year we went to my Tito's resort for a swim. We just had spaghetti and ice cream at my lola's house in Batangas. After lunch we decided to go back home in Cavite. My mom said to go to Tagaytay path instead of South Super Highway. She told us we will visit Olivares in Tagaytay to dig clothes in ukay-ukay hehehe. On our way we passed through Fantasy Island where my dad asked us if we want to take picture. However we changed our mind because as soon as we stopped all vendors crowded our van like a superstar being followed by lots of fan. Since it is a Sunday it is a little traffic going to Tagaytay but after an hour or so we reached our destination, Olivares Plaza in Tagaytay.

There are lots of ukay-ukay stores there. We just entered one store and after almost an hour of digging I was able to buy 2 denim pants for my little boy for only P300, one denim is branded (Nautica), a P75 maong pants and a corduroy jacket for P250. You really need to have patience if you are going to go to an ukay. You will be able to find really good stuff if you spend time digging. I remember my mom got a blue Montagut blouse, almost new, for only P50. We are planning to go back there maybe two weeks from now and I will try to dig for a good blouse for me.

Endaya Clan Reunion 2011

Last February 26, 2011 we had our reunion at Cuenca Institute. The theme of the party is retro. We arrived early at my lola's house but they don't want to be there in the said event so early. We went there around 5pm and the party started at 4pm. They are already calling the family of each clan. This reunion by the way are the siblings of my grandfather on my mother's side and their families. Not lots of people are wearing retro including me. I don't have talent in dancing at all, since the party is dancing all night I am not into it. There are lots of foods as usual. Sad part is that on our side only 2 siblings of my mother come and they are actually not sure 12 or 13. I have some pictures taken but then it is still on my camera. I was able to remember the faces of some but really I can't remember their names. I am looking forward to our next reunion next year.

GMA Bank Claim

I have a checking account with GMA Bank Imus which closed last February 3, 2011. Last February 23, I was browsing PDIC website and I am thinking of going to their office in Makati instead of going to GMA Bank to file a claim for my remaining balance which is about P5k something. But then I changed my mind and decided to visit the bank first. Good thing I brought my check book with me because that is one of the requirement. When I arrived there the guard asked me to write my name on a piece of paper and told me to wait for my name to be called.

When I enter the bank its the people of PDIC who are there. The 2 young lady who gave me the claims form I would say doesnt have good customer service. It seems like they are sick and tired of talking to people complaining and asking on what to do. They don't have smile on their face and they don't feel like helping people. Anyway good thing I already downloaded the claims form from PDIC website so I don't need to fill out the form again. The lady at reception even told me its not the same, funny, it is exactly the same. Anyway after that I was told to go the other room and get my statement of account. They asked for my account number and they gave me all my checks that are already cleared and a copy of my statement of account.

Next step is you need to submit the claims form, with a photocopy of 2 valid ID, Original Copy of your Statement of Account (please photocopy this so that you have your own copy for future need) and the remaining unused checks that I have. They input my info in the computer and afterwards gave me a paper. A check will be send to me via snail mail, most probably in May of this year. This is really a big hassle and I hope I would be able to get my hard earned money as soon as possible.
