Payment Assistance Program

Yesterday I got a letter from Citibank offering me a payment assistance for my loan with them. I called them early this morning before 9am and the phone is just ringing. I try it again around 10am and waited for a minute or two and at last someone answered the phone. I thought nobody will answer because the phone just keeps on ringing without any voice prompt. Anyway someone who sounds like has a cold asked for my credit card number. I told him what I am calling for is about my loan. He then transferred me to another line. A girl answered and asked for my credentials. She said its not a good idea for me since I am in good standing. Although availing the said program would make my monthly bill a little lower it would extend the terms or the number of years. Like right now I only have 15months more left, if I took advantage of the payment assistance program it might lengthen up to 2 1/2 years, wew! And one more thing I will no longer be eligible to loan with them. Hmmm.... I decided not to proceed then. Once my loan is done I hope they would offer me lower interest rate or I might just go to another bank like Chinatrust.

One Week Absent

I am not use to being absent. Last year I was absent due to emergency but still I was able to achieve 100% reliability and I am proud of it. Until now my eyes are still red. I've been absent for the whole week now and I am hoping and praying that by Monday I will be able to go back to work. The ophthalmologist who check my eye says that sore eyes is more contagious than colds. Medicine doesn't really cure this disease but it just help from preventing bacteria from spreading. She told me I need to strengthen my health since it is our immune system that kills the virus. She gave me Ofloxacin to prevent inflammation and told me to take vitamin c.

Conjunctivitis Outbreak

Similasan Pink Eye Relief Eye Drops, .33-Ounce BottleYes, its an outbreak within our house. It was a day before New Year when David started to have symptoms. Actually in New Year's Eve his eyes are really red. Good thing he was only absent for one week and only one eye got infected. After him it was my little girl, Rhaine, who got the virus. Bad thing both her eyes are infected. It got worsen to the point that her tears are reddish due to blood. The doctor says it looks like some of the vein in her eyes are already bleeding. Its quite hard for her because she doesn't want to put ointment on her eyes and she doesn't want it to be clean as well. After a week my husband was infected too. Urgh! I said spare my eyes but I guess since we are living together and sleeping in the same bed the virus was able to reach my eyes. I am here at work right now waiting for a decision if I will go home or stay at work and risk everyone of getting this red eye. Haaayss... I hate this. I was able to get 100% reliability last year for attendance, if I go home now then I guess I can no longer attain the same reliability. Anyway I hope this pink or red eyes would heal quickly.

Tabasco All Around

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.
My friends find me weird because if my enticement with chili or hot foods. Whether it's fried, saucy or soup I like it hot and spicy. That is why I always have TABASCO® Original Red in our kitchen. I don't usually put it on food when cooking because of my kids. But in almost every meal I have it on my side. It's like an appetizer for me.

For those of you who are looking forward for the Super Bowl. It would be a great watch if you have pizza with Tabasco. I am sure you will not fall asleep and every bite would be yummier. What make Tabasco special is that it is "so much more than hot." Every drop of it unlocks or enhances the flavor of food so you can get the best of every bite.

One of the quick foods that I cook is hotdog with catsup. It so simple. Just slice the hotdog diagonally and saute it with garlic and onion then add catsup. My kids really enjoy this, but for me aside for catsup I also add Tabasco.

What is your Bowl of Stew?

I am glad that last Sunday we are able to attend church. It is one of my goal for this year, 2011, to be able to worship and praise God every week. The topic then is that we should not be to complacent and stay in our comfort zone. The title of the sermon is Live in Godly Discomfort. We should learn to go out of our comfort zone to be able to improve and not be afraid of changes. We should not stop knowing God and share how good He is. But one thing that strikes me during the sermon is the story of Esau giving up his birth right for a bowl of stew.

In Genesis 25, you will be able to read the story of Esau when he agreed to have a bowl of stew in exchange of his birth right. During those days, the first born gets twice the inheritance of his siblings and he would be the head of the household. But since Esau was too hungry he did not think if the consequence of what he did. In our life sometimes we make decisions without thinking of the consequences. Will you exchange your family, your career, your friendship for a bowl of stew?

Nurses Uniform in Style

Since I have two kids, a one and five year old, we always visit their pedia for check up. I am thankful that the nurses on duty every time we made a visit have good customer service. They have big smile on their faces and shows willingness to help. It is nice to see those nurses wearing different nursing scrubs. However, I noticed that some of them have old uniform, the color is already faded. I guess the clinic should give them new clothes for free.

They can check out Blue Sky for a cheap scrub yet in style. I have seen the design that they offer and they look very elegant. What also excites me is they offer scrub that kids can wear so they can play or feel that they are nurse too. I would like to get those scrubs for my kids.

Motorcycle Request

Raider Black and Silver Large Motorcycle CoverMy husband keeps on asking me to get a motorcycle. I keep on saying NO because I am afraid of something bad might happen. I have seen a lot of videos showing a motorcycle accident and I can't stand most them. I have seen people with broken legs and arms, lots of blood, unrecognizable face due to damage caused by the accident and even death. I told him we will try to get a 2nd hand car this year instead. It would be more useful for our family and lesser accident as well. If we will not be able to get a car this year, I hope next year we will.

Welcoming 2011

For the year 2011 I am really looking forward of moving to our new house and be able to buy a second hand car. This is really my main goal for our family. David transferring to a new school, new neighborhood, not living with a relative. Start a new life, new environment, really living on our own... I don't know where to start or how we will be able to achieve this. We don't have any savings at all but let just wait and see....

Thank you Lord for the wonderful 2010...... as we welcome 2011 please lead our path because I still believe you know what is the best for me and my family.
