Tacos Night

Its another tummy fulfilling night. Our team decided to have tacos. This is a ritual that we usually do every Friday after the salary day. But this time we did it on a Thursday shift since some of us will not be available on Friday. We have two choices for the meat, ground pork and ground beef. Me I prefer beef, it taste better. No one bring sliced tomatoes, so all we have for the toppings are onions, cabbage, grated cheese and salsa con queso. Some also brought mushroom bacon cheese melt. Its a good combination with the loaf bread. The stuff that we have for tacos also goes well with the nacho chips that my TL brought. It is very satisfying but it would be more exciting if we have hot sauce for the tacos. Anyway I really enjoy it and I am looking forward for more festive night.

Getting an Eyeglasses Online

In this modern world we can almost get everything online. The world is getting smaller and internet is becoming a necessity now a days. With the power of the internet you can search about different things which you use to do in the library before. Online purchase is becoming popular too because it is easier to search for a product and look for a cheaper price. You don't need to walk around or drive just to look for what you need. You can do all of these by just a click of your mouse.

I've tried paying things online but I really haven't tried buying or ordering an item. This online business actually affects some resellers and would you believe even doctors and clinics. Let us talk about getting  eyeglasses online. Most of them would ask you for the Rx subscription from your ophthalmologist so that they can get the correct PD (Pupillary Distance). Some doctors would not give your PD unless you will purchase an eyeglasses for them. Some will give it to you with a professional charge. For my own opinion it is alright to have a charge to do a check up and have a subscription but they should not force their customer to get the eyeglasses from them. As a customer it is my choice where I want to buy my eyeglasses. Just like having a check up with any doctor, a fee is needed but you are not force to buy the medicines from them.

My 5 year old Kid got UTI

AZO Urinary Tract Infection Test Strips, 3-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)Last Saturday we are supposed to go to Batangas to celebrate my grandmother's 81st birthday. Unfortunately something bad happen on Friday. I was still at work when my husband give me a phone call. He said David is vomiting. When I came home I knew he is not feeling well. All he wants to do is to lie down and sleep. He is not the kid who loves to play and run around. My husband and I decided to bring him to his pedia, Dra. Estorninos, at Casa Medica in SM Southmall. We are told that David needs to be confine and need to have blood and urinalyis test.

We bought him in Las Pinas Medical Center. Just like before he did not cry when the nurse inserted the dextrose. We asked him not to look and tell him its going to be very quick. He was confined around 2:30pm and from morning till noon he actually vomited 10 times. During the morning he doesn't have fever and it was in afternoon when his fever started. After the blood and urinalysis test I was told by the nurse that his WBC is high which means that there is an infection. It was the doctor who told me that David has UTI. His urinalysis shows puss on his urine. He was given antibiotic to drink. We only stayed in the hospital for one day. He was told to finish his antibiotic for one week and we will visit his pedia after that. He was also advised to have another urinalysis before the check up.

I am a little bit worried because yesterday he was complaining about stomach pain. I was thinking it is not his stomach and it might have something to do with his UTI. We will visit his pedia this Friday and I hope everything is ok.

Neobux 502 Bad Gateway

It's been more than a week now that I am having problem making a click at Neobux. Its either when I try to login or click an ads it will go to a page with error "502 Bad Gateway." I've read online that this means that Neobux is doing an update. I don't think that is the case on  my end because it is more than a week now. Good thing I was able to do a click at work. Is this a problem with my ISP or can Neobux do something about this.

Mozilla Freezes and Task Manager Shows 100% CPU Memory Usage

Mozilla's Award Winning Firefox and Thunderbird Shift+Open PackageI am a fan of Mozilla Firefox that is why I am using it both at home and at work. One thing that I noticed at work most of the time it would freeze and not respond. Usually what I would do is to stop it from running using task manager and start a new session. For a while I just ignore it. I tried updating the version that I have but still no go. Then earlier today I noticed that it locked up but it still shows responding in task manager. When I checked CPU usage it shows 99-100 percent for firefox. I then google what could be causing it and find out that I need to install flashblock. I installed it and so far everything looks normal. I hope this will permanently fix the problem.

July Nutrition Month

Your Vegetarian Pregnancy : A Month-by-Month Guide to Health and NutritionIn celebration of the Nutrition Month for the month of July, Ron David was assigned by his teacher to bring fruit salad. He is in kindergarten now, I can't remember what food he brought last year. This will happen this coming Friday and I need to prepare fruit salad good for 16 people. I find this a good event to let kids know the importance of healthy food. As we all know it is very hard to let a kid eat fruits and vegetable. My sons favorite are fried chicken, corned beef, hotdog, softdrinks and junk food. Once in a while he would agree to eat some veggies like squash, kangkong, carrots, potatoes etc. According to statistics every year 31.8 percent of school age children are underweight, 32 percent are stunted, and 6.6 percent suffer from wasting. Let us act now and train our children to eat healthy food for them to grow healthy and smarter.

Website for Shoe Lovers

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of If The Shoe Doesn't Fit. All opinions are 100% mine.

Most women are addicted to shopping and one thing that they love to buy is shoes. If you are working most probably you have a pair of black shoes, sandals, high heels, rubber shoes and others. Some people actually have collections of them. This reminds me of Mrs. Imelda Marcos, according to the news she has around 3000 collections of shoes. That is really an amazing collection.

Anyway, if you wanted to Sell, swap or shop for shoes here is a website that would be a great help. It is called If The Shoe Doesn't Fit. Their name is very catchy. It is very easy to register, just need to create a username and password and then put in a valid email address and that's it. No registration fee. After signing up all you need to do is to validate your registration and you are ready to go.

You can start joining an auction, buy shoes at a fixed price or just swap on old shoes that you have. I find swapping fun; it would be great if you have different shoes every month. This is also a good opportunity for income. If you have shoes that you no longer use then sell them online. For those who have little kids, I know their shoes outgrow very fast so you can swap them or sell them. It would save you a lot of money. Visit their website now and consider them as The auction site for shoe lovers.

Maxicare Covers Warts Removal

Last Sunday we went to Casa Medica at SM Southmall for Rhaine to have her chickenpox vaccine. While waiting on the queue Robin said he would ask a derma if they could remove the moles (which I thought) on his neck and chest and to see if it will be covered by Maxicare. He already had a check up before and was schedule for removal but then the doctor is unavailable. Also his doctor before doesnt seem nice. This time its a girl again but compare to the doctor before this one is very nice. He was asked to contact Maxicare for approval. He was told that P2000 will be covered. The session cost P2500 so I still need to pay for the P500. I told him to proceed with it.

The doctor put a white cream all over his neck, chest and underarms where there are warts (according the doctor) and put a big transparent tape. It was an anesthesia because later the doctor will burn them. (ouch!) We ate at Jollibee first since he needs to wait for an hour before the procedure. People are looking him because of the big tape on his neck and he also has once tape on his left eye. The doctor said the wart on his eye and finger is free, i mean no extra charge, yey! We went back to the clinic after an hour and the doctor started burning them. Robin said the device looks like a small tool for burning metal. He doesn't feel anything but he said the one on his finger hurts. The doctor even injected anesthesia on it. After more than 30mins they are done. Those brown looked like moles before are now all black, they are burned. I can still see them and they are more noticeable because of the black color but the doctor said it would fall on its own. He was told not to scratch them to avoid infection. He was given a liquid soap, 7 days antibiotic and a cream. We will visit the doctor after a month.

SM goes green, No plastic Bag

I was surprised last Wednesday when I visited SM Molino Hypermarket. I went there because I needed to buy milk for my little girl. When I was still in line I noticed that the cashiers are putting the groceries either in a box or using a small brown paper. I thought SM is out of plastic bags. I told the cashier why don't you have plastic bags. She told me it is because its a Wednesday. She even offered my two SM green bags for P35 which I did not buy because I only bought 4 items. I am kind a disappointed and thinking that SM is trying to save money. (feeling ko nagkukuripot sila hehehe).

I found on the internet that SM Cebu is already doing it. This is to encourage people to stop using plastic which is very harmful to the environment. At first some customers reacted badly, like me. But when I realized what is the purpose of the campaign, which is to save the environment. I am no longer disappointed. What I will do next time is I will avail of their green bag and use that every time I need to by groceries. Let us support this campaign and help the environment. Go green!!!!

Not Feeling Well

Its been one week now that I have this strange feeling. I would have head ache, my feet sometimes feels cold or hot, my palm feels hot, my taste buds is sometimes sour but when I measure my temperature highest would be 37.8C. I am thinking of going to the doctor to have a check up but I am thinking that this would disappear on its own. Yes, it does but it comes back usually in the afternoon. Haaysss I don't like this feeling.

Sponsored Reviews Review

Blog Advertising - Advertise on blogs with SponsoredReviews.comI've been a member of SponsoredReviews for quite some time and this is the first time I got a paid post from them. It was last June 30 when I submitted the post. The post cost $10 but then it is 50/50 with them so my earning is only $5. When I checked my email tonight I saw a confirmation. It was $5 with no extra fee. Wow got paid after $9 days.... it just that I don't know why I am not getting a lot of opportunities with them. Maybe I should bid more often. Anyway this post that was approved is not a bid that I made but the advertiser just contacted me. I am hoping for more opportunities with them. Below is my proof of payment.

Summerpointe Country Homes Update

House by House, Block by Block: The Rebirth of America's Urban NeighborhoodsWell I thought they stopped collecting "Advanced Monthly Amortization." I just receive a letter last week from Prosperity Builder to start paying again the advanced MA. I asked how come they stop collecting for two months? The lady told me it is because for them to be able to file my documents to Pag-ibig. Haayss.... Anyway last Wednesday (June 30) we visited the site and it is good to know that our house is already built. At last after 1year and 4 months of waiting. There are already a lots of people in Phase 1 and our unit is in phase 2. We met a lady in Phase 2 who just moved in a few days ago. They are the first family there. They don't have meralco yet but the developer provided them with temporary source and for the water it is being delivered. They said in couple of weeks they might already have water. The engineer whom we talked with says that on that same day someone from Pag-ibig is going to our unit to do inspection. I hope everything will go well and it will be turn over to us either this July or August.
