GMA Bank Checking Account

Thanks to GMA Bank I was able to open a checking account that is very affordable.

We purchased a house and lot last year under Pag-ibig Housing Loan. One of the requirement needed is post dated check. I first applied at Chinabank in SM Southmall who has a horrible customer service. One of the agent from Prosperity Builders refer me to GMA bank in Imus. It is easy to find because it is just along Aguinaldo Highway. If you are coming from Zapote it will be on your left side. You will see it before Robinson's Imus.

What I remember is I submitted 2 copies of valid ID and paid P2000. P1600 for the maintaining balance and the P400 is for processing fee and first set of check book. If there is no queue you can get your booklet in a few minutes. The booklet only has your account number. When you order for your next check book, which takes 1month, your name will already be on it. I recommend GMA Bank for those people who are looking for an affordable checking account. They also have branches in Muntinlupa, Laguna and Lipa City.

Personalized Gift for your Mom

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bliss Living. All opinions are 100% mine.

Mother's Day is just around the corner. Let us not forget to show how much we love our mother. When I become a mom it was then I realized how hard and yet fulfilling it is. I was able to appreciate and understand her more. This coming mother's day I was thinking of giving her something personalized. I saw on Bliss Living Jewelry that you can order a personalized necklace.

Here are two popular necklaces that they have available. The first one, on the left, has two pendants where you can put your mom's name and her birth date. If you notice there is also a small stone above the pendant. You can select color for it depending on her birthstone. This cost $160 and you can add $8 to make have it silver polished. The picture on the right, is has a different design but it is the same. You can either put your mom's and your name or whatever you want. There is an option if you wanted to add more stone or more pendants. There is so much that you can do. Lots of designs are available and option to personalize it. Visit their website now and don't let go of the opportunity of free shipping if you purchased over $99.

I really love this one and am thinking if I would buy this for her. Also I am thinking which is better, silver or gold?

Ginisang Munggo

My husband is planning to cook munggo for our lunch today. Just wanted to share how to cook it.

Ingredients:
2 cups munggo
2 small head of garlic minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/8kg of ground pork
1 talong, sliced
1 cup malunggay leaves
salt & pepper to taste

How to Cook:

Boil munggo until tender. Strain and set aside. Saute garlic, onion and ground pork. Add munggo and stir for a few minutes. Add water and let it boil. Season with salt and pepper. Add talong and wait until cooked. Add malunggay and simmer for a few minutes. Serve while hot. Fried fish is a good partner for this menu.

Adsense and Infolinks Together

The AdSense Code: What Google Never Told You About Making Money with AdSenseI am a member of infolinks but I removed it on this site because I was afraid it will conflict google adsense and my pay per post racket. I noticed that I am getting more viewer everyday now so I decided to enable google adsense on my post and add infolinks together. I read on a blog that it is alright. Someone from infolinks even make a comment that it is alright. One more thing, when I sign in to my infolinks account there is already a shortcut for blogger user which make easier to integrate infolink. I hope this will work well for me.

How to Change Nintendo DS Skin or Theme

I was downloading DS games earlier when I decided to check if my R4 has the latest firmware. I find out that what we have is a TTDS card and not R4. You can check out www.ndstt.com. I saw there some skins available for download.

My little David loves Mario so I make it the theme of our DS. What I did is I put the mario skin  files into a folder and name it to default. Overwrite the existing default skin folder inside the TTS Menu Folder. It is as easy as that. Below is the skin that I have.

Free Nintendo DS Games Download

Nintendo DS Lite Cobalt / BlackMy son always borrow his cousin's Nintendo DS Lite. His nanay told him that he will also get one on his birthday which is on June 21. Thanks to his Tita Weng who decided to buy him the console so that he would not borrow his cousin's DS anymore.

We stroll around ATC (Ayala Town Center) to look for the cheapest price. Each store has different bundle but we find a New Nintendo DS Lite for only P5700. It already has R4 with 2GB of Micro SD card. We can also go their for 1year and have unlimited download for DS games. I think the store also offers games for PSP.

What I did is I buy a card reader for P80 at CD-R King and look for free download online so that I don't need to go to ATC every time. I registered at www.unlimiteddsdownload.com for $39.95 to be able to get instruction on how to do it and get a link for a safe downloads. It is a lifetime membership. My neighbor says I should not paid that much since I can actually download for free online. Well I guess that is alright because that money that I pay for is my income from blogging hehehe. At least I can download DS games and not worry about virus and spyware. There is still hassle on this because it takes time to download because of my internet connection and not all games are working. David enjoys it a lot that he no longer bothers me on my personal computer, yey!

RCBC Customer Service

I've posted here that last Monday the RCBC ATM at our office debited my account and yet did not dispensed any cash. It was a really a bad experience. My shift ends at 8am so I need to wait for the bank to open at 9am. I decided to have breakfast at Jollibee. Good thing I saw Melai and Jonald having breakfast as well. Atleast I have someone to chat with while waiting.

I went back to the bank at exactly 9am and I think I waited 3mins more before they actually opened. I did not see a customer service booth so I asked the guard where to go for ATM that is debited. He gave me a customer complaints form and asked me to go to New Accounts. I filled out the form and when I went to the New Accounts, no one is there. But beside it was a guy working but did not even smile at me or inform me where the person on New Accounts is. Then this lady sit down before me and I give her the customer complaint form. She read it and says "P8000." She get a scissor give the stub to me and write a phone number to contact. She told me to call RCBC for follow. up She did not even mention how long it would take to resolve the issue. When I asked about it she says probably 1 week. This is where I realized how much empathy can ease the discomfort of a customer. But RCBC employess don't have it. I would say of all the bank that I dealt with Citibank still has the best customer service, maybe that is why they have high interest rate (hehehe).

I called RCBC the next day and talk to a guy. He told me it might take 3 days. I told him why that long since the ATM I used is their machine and the same branch. He says thats how it works. (ok) Friday comes and still I am not yet credited. I called back and to my surprise when I told the guy I am making a follow up on my ATM that is debited, he asked me from which APC I am from. APC (American Power Conversion) have different office in EPZA, we have Admin, Cav1 and Cav2. I haven't mention that I am from APC and that is his question right away. I guess there are lot of people who had a bad experience like me. He told me to call back after 5mins and look for Ralph since he is in the bathroom. When I call back Ralph told me that he is already making inputs for the problem and I should receive the credit within the day.

I would say 4 days to fix the problem is somewhat acceptable but it would have been better if their people are accommodating. I believe also they should be able to resolve it quicker since it is their own ATM. I would give them 3 out of 5. (5 being the highest) Still passing score because they resolve my issue but nothing superb with their service.

Finger Chili with Cheese - My Style

Our team had a Friday food trip again. This time we had a theme which is "Hot and Spicy." One of my office mate requested to bring "chili finger." I posted on my post before that I wanted to try making those yummy pica-pica. Here are what I prepared:

1/4 Ground Pork
1 small minced onion
25 pcs siling haba (finger chili)
1 small box of cheddar cheese (you can also use quick melt)
lumpia wrapper (ratio 1 sili : 1 lumpia wrapper)

Saute the onion and then add the ground pork. Add soy sauce and a little ground pepper. then set aside.

Cut each chili in the middle and remove the seeds. (CAUTION: Use spoon or anything in removing the seeds to avoid what happen to me. I removed the seeds using my bare hands. After removing all the seeds my finger hurts so much, feels like it is burning... aw!) Slice cheese into strips.
Stuff the ground pork in the finger chili and top it with cheese. Wrap it using lumpia wrapper.
Fry and then drain the excess oil. You can also serve it with dip.

RCBC Debited My ATM, No Cash Dispensed

You read it right. This is the first time I've experienced this and it really bothers me. This happen last night before my shift starts. We have an RCBC ATM in our office. I always make a withdrawal there so I am very comfortable using it. Something strange happen. When I try to withdraw, I got stuck on "Please wait while I'm processing your request," this after I put the amount I wanted to withdraw. (which is P8000, hu hu hu). Several minutes had passed and I am still on the same screen. I press cancel several times still on the same screen. After few more minutes the ATM ejected my card but then with no transaction slip and NO MONEY (waaaa). I got worried so I put my card back and do a balance inquiry. Well, same thing happened, got stuck on the same page and also no transaction slip.

I hurried to my station and opened my tools for work. And after that I checked online if I my ATM got debited. To my surprise, YES! (hu hu hu again.) One of my team mates told me he tried to withdraw twice earlier and experienced the same thing. Good for him he did not get debited. I am planning to go  to RCBC near our office after my shift and file a complain. I've talked to some colleagues who had same experience like me. The first one I talked with says he was able to get his money back after 3 days. While the second one says he was able to get his after 1 month! (Aw huhuhu). I'll make another post after I went to RCBC. Here I will see if they have good customer service.

Flower Symbol

Flowers are symbol of love. It is very popular specially on Hearts Day. When you receive flower from someone it really makes you feel special. If you cannot think of a gift on a special occasion then a bouquet of flower is actually a good option. You can give a flower on anniversaries, birthdays, as a congratulation gift, corporate gifts, get well gift, if you wanted to say sorry or thank you, for a new baby, to show appreciation, to show sympathy during funerals etc. It conveys how much you care and appreciate a person. I think the last time I got a flower was this Valentine's Day. It is not from my husband though. Hmmm... I wonder when will be the next time I will receive beautiful flowers again.

Salary Increase

I got this quote from my friend Ime.

"Coins always make sound but paper money are always silent. So when your value increases keep your self silent and be humble."

NOA - Notice of Approval from HDMF

Bobkona Trenton Sectional Sofa, HazelnutHere is the update for my long journey in getting a house from Summer Pointe. (@_@). This Monday I asked my husband to pay the monthly amortization and make sure that we don't have an arrears. I told my husband to ask the developer (Prosperity Builders Resources Inc) when they will start constructing our unit because they are promising since November that my house is already inline for filing to Pag-ibig. No wonder it is not yet approved because they haven't started building it.

Well, I was given a NOA (Notice of Approval) from HDMF. I signed it and asked my husband to bring it the next day. We were told that PROBABLY by the end of this month or MAYBE in May our unit will be in construction and will be done in June. I am hoping that this time they are telling the truth because they already told me a lot of lies.

Income-Web Scam?

I just posted an invite to join me at Income-web. I was really amazed how I earned money in just a matter of few days without spending a dime. I've read some review on it from MyLot and it looks like this is a scam. I would try to continue with this and prove it to myself, hehehe. A few more days and I reach $100 so let see if I can withdraw or not. I'll give you an update maybe after a week or so.

Cough Relief - Vicks Vaporub on Feet

Yes! It worked for my little girl (8 months old). I received this email a few weeks ago at work. There is no harm in trying. So for two days when my little girl wakes up due to coughing what I would do is put a generous amount of Vicks Vaporub on the sole of her feet and put socks on. After a few minutes she stop coughing and sleep well throughout the night. She still has cough but then it let her sleep well. I recommend this to all moms out there who have children.

How many times do I need to forgive

We are remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ during this Lent season. Truly God's love to his people is overwhelming, I cannot deny that. The bible says we should love others just like we love ourselves. We should live just like how Jesus lived on earth. Having a good harmonious relationship with someone gives you peace in mind. But then how many times should I forgive someone for the same mistake? I guess once or twice is ok but how about if its multiple and the same mistake? That person already promised never to do it but then here we go again. It is like a habit that cannot be removed. Forgiving I know is something that we should do since God forgive us though we are born sinners. It is easy to say I forgive you but it is hard to forget. I pray to God to give me strength and a forgiving heart and also I pray that this person will be able to overcome this habit of doing that same mistake.

Easy Loan

We are getting our salary bi-monthly. Sometimes my money is not enough to pay some bills due to unexpected expenses. If I will wait for the next pay day my bills will already be past the due dates. Extra money to fill in the gap between the next pay day is what we need in cases like this. Aside from applying a loan in a bank we can actually try payday loans. One advantage that they have is that they do not require any documents that need to be faxed. Since it is an online application it only takes 3 minutes to fill out the application form and you can get instant approval. They don't do credit check so even if you have bad credit you have a big change of getting the money overnight. You can try this if you needed money to fill in the gap between your next payday. You can loan up to a maximum of $800.
