Relyenong Bangus

Here is a picture of Relyenong Bangus that I asked Anet to bring. I think I was still pregnant when I first got a taste of her special relyenong bangus. Actually she brought 2 of these but I forgot to take a picture right away. We are really starving when Anet and Ime arrived. I think it is past 12 noon already when we started  eating.

Ime texted me and said she has gastritis and she cannot eat oily food. Sad for her she will not be able to eat the yummy milk fish. Good thing I also bought "litson manok" from Sr. Pedro. She eat the chicken  meat but not allowed to eat the skin which has more flavor.

After lunch we planned to go to SM Southmall to watch New Moon. I told them I only started reading book one last Monday, hehehe. I've read half of the book so I only have a little info. Before leaving Anet give me a more info about Twilight. She told me how each of the member of the Cullens Family turned into a vampire. I'm really not into reading but I find book really interesting. Below are our pictures before we went to SM.

Meeting Old Friends

Later I will have lunch at my moms house with my college friends, Ime and Anet. Pinky said she will not be able to come since it is her niece birthday. She said maybe we can schedule another time before Christmas. We haven't seen each other for a while and we've been planning this get together for a few months now. Since all of us are working we need to schedule a time wherein all of us are available. Me and Anet have the same days off which is Saturday and Sunday. It took a while to set the date since every time Ime file a VL for a Saturday it always get declined. Finally she got approval for today and I am hoping to have good time with them. Actually their main agenda is to visit my little girl Rhaine Danielle since they haven't seen her. After lunch we will go the mall and maybe watch movie or just stroll around. See yah guys!

How to Commute Going to Enchanted Kingdom

At last! Yesterday we were able to go to EK. Since mamu did not come with us we need to commute going there. From Alabang we ride a jeep going to Balibago. It cost P32 per head, then we drop off at Walter Mart. From there we ride a tricycle which cost P32 as well for special or P8 each for 4 persons.

I thought there will be lesser people since it is not weekend. But then there are a lot of students from different schools who have field trip.

It was a tiring day but yet a fun day specially for David. I bought EK pen, plastic glass, t-shirt for David and polo short for me as souvenir. I also bought a EK keychain for my mom.

Failed Trip to EK

I was really excited to go to EK yesterday. I knew it would be a lot of fun since my officemates will be there as well. It was a long weekend for us since we don't have work this Thanks Giving Day. But then I was not able to go. )-: It was because nobody will take care of Rhaine.

We decided to go there later after David's PE at school. We will leave Rhaine to one of our friend who is also our neighbor. I hope it will not rain so that we can enjoy the rides and strolling in the park. I'll post some pictures maybe tonight if I have time.

Congo Grille Dinner

Yesterday after our visit to Prosperity Builders (developer of the house that we are planning to buy) we went to SM MOA to have dinner. Since it is my birthday, it is my treat. After paying our water bill we started to stroll around to look for a place to eat. While strolling we had a taste of apple ice drop and David had a cheezy french fries. My dad is already tired of walking and wanted to go home. We then saw Congo Grille and decided to have a taste of their food. There is no regret, all of our orders taste really good. At first we had a hard time choosing what to order because of a lot of choices. Then one of the crew offer us their group meals. We choose the meal which has a stuffed squid since it is my favorite. The meal that we order only cost P1600 and is good for 5 persons. It comes with 1 tower iced tea, 5 rice, molo soup, lumpia, pakbet, pork (i forgot the name but it taste like sweet dried adobo), chicken bacolod, sizzling stuffed squid and a fruit platter for dessert. The restaurant has a dim light which I find relaxing. The menus that they offer are somewhat similar to Gerry's Grill but I find their food more tastier. We had a family picture at Great Image before we went home.

Long Weekend

Yehey! It is going to be a long weekend for me. I am on vacation leave tomorrow and on Friday plus Saturday and Sunday days off. Weeee! I wonder what to do. Actually I file a leave because it is my birthday on Friday and my husband's birthday on Saturday. Lucky for us because our birthday are in a consecutive days so we can do it in just one celebration. Lesser expenses. (lol!)

Every year what we usually do is just cook pansit or spaghetti and enjoy it with our family. My sister in law never miss to bring birthday cakes during our birthday. And take note she buys two cakes for us, hehehe. (Thanks Weng!) This coming Saturday we are planning to have an overnight swimming with my husband's friends. It is not yet sure but one of his friend said he will bring food and all we need to pay for is just the cottage. That is a good deal. I'll just make another post of our birthday celebration.

Happy Birthday to me and to my Mahal!

Styropor vs Styrofoam

It is funny how I come up with this post. At work we were discussing what to do with our bulletin board. Other teams already started decorating their board with Christmas themes. One of my team mate suggested to use a Christmas background that he saw online. It has a light blue background with snow on the side and a white christmas tree. He said we can change the background to black then use styropor or styrofoam for the snow?

Hahaha! I asked him to search in google the difference between the two. Guess what, we find out that Styrofoam and Stryopor are actually brand names and the material is actually called polystyrene. It is like photocopier which is more known as Xerox (brand name of photocopier).

KFC Twister

Yesterday I had a quick grocery at SM Southmall. Before I went home I decided to buy something to eat. I saw the picture of KFC twister and fall in love with it. I don't have my camera with me so I was not able to take a picture of it. I just grab this picture online.

The packaging is really good. It is a rectangular carton with a dotted pattern on the middle that you can pull to fully open the box and easily eat the twister. It taste like pizza with chicken. It is wrapped very good and not messy to eat.

For me, it just taste ok but I would not crave for it. Given a choice between KFC Twister and a hot & spicy shawarma, I would go with Shawarma even if it is quite messy to eat.

Smorgasbord is a restaurant in Tagaytay near Robinsons. They offer a very affordable eat all you can meal for only P249. This is were we eat our lunch after our shift last night. There are a lot of foods to choose from, try to visit this place and have a full stomach. I would give 2 thumbs up to this restaurant. Below are some of the foods that they offer.
