Its a Baby Girl

Since David is already 3 yrs old my husband and I decided last year to stop my quarterly injection to have a second child.  God listen to our plea and we find out that I am pregnant last November.

I am on my 6th months of pregnancy now.  Earlier we went to Las Pinas Medical Center for my ultra sound to find out the gender of our baby.  I really want to thank God for hearing our prayer not just to have a 2nd baby but to have a girl this time.  Truly God listens to His children.

The doctor who did the ultra sound is also a christian and is attending the same church where we go to, CCF Alabang.  He said to his assistant that we should not think of the things that we don't have but rather think of the things that we have and be thankful.  He mention that we should be thankful for every little things that we have like the free air that we breathe, waking up every morning, for our senses etc.  He actually invited us to look for a D-group in the church so that we can grow spiritually. D-group is a small group in the church who gathers together to study the word of God and pray for each other.

I send a text message to my mom and best friend Jannette about the result and both of them gave me a congrats.  My mother said she will have two little girls to put pony tail on since my sister in law give birth to a girl last February. Our family is growing and I thank God for his marvelous works in our lives.

Web Hosting

We are now on a modern world wherein computer is part of our everyday lives. Internet is very common where we can find and search almost about anything. Before its hard and expensive to have and build your own website. But now because of web site hosting its cheaper and easier to have one.

One dream of a blogger is to have his own website. web site hosting is needed to achieve that goal. There are a lot of offers online and because of too much options its quite hard to choose. There are also a lot of things to consider like web space, bandwith, technical support etc.

If you don't have your own site yet then http://webhostinggeeks.com/ would be a very good help. They can assist you in looking for a good host depending on your needs. You can search on different web hosting company based on their awards like Best Blog Hosting, Best Budget Hosting, Best Unix hosting, Best Email hosting, Best Forum Hosting etc. Aside from that they also give some tips about web hosting and also features some news about it. Once you find the web host that suits your needs there is a link there so that you can easily sign up for it.

I don't have a site of my own yet since I still have other priorities. Once I able to keep some budget then I would consider getting assistance from http://webhostinggeeks.com/.

Logico Primo

While strolling around SM Southmall, last year, we saw a Grolier International stall with different offers for encyclopedia and books for kids. Grolier is known for encyclopedia and educational books. At first I was hesistant to approach the stall because I know their books are quite expensive.

My husband along with my son , David, approach it first. David as a kid were fascinated by the different colorful books but what really caught his attention is the logico primo. Its an educational book for little kids. It do have a play board where you can insert different informational cards. Because of David's interest I then decided to get the package.

The package is consist of 1 set of Logico Primo, 12 Vols. of Question & Answer Book, 2 Vols. Children Dictionary and 6 Vols. of Question of Math. Good thing they offer installment, I still have 4 payments left to get fully paid.

Here is the play board and it comes with 10 categories with 16 flash cards each.

Free Online Game: Magnext

Do you like free online games? How about meeting friends online? Then why don't you try MagNext Virtual. While playing you can meet new friends around the world.

Your character is like a small marble. You can customize it by changing its color which is called 'paint jobs.' You can also add gear to make your character unique. On the left picture I have a santa hat which is a gear that I got somewhere while scrolling around the game. If you see a bag with a question mark click on it and you might be able to get an item or a magz (gold in the game). You can use magz to buy your gear , paint jobs and actions.

Like other online games you can interact with other players through chat. One thing that I don't like in the chat is that you cannot create your own message. There is already a list of messages that you can choose from. I hope they update that so that playing with friends would be more fun.

There are three games that you can choose from: Arena, Icoaster and Spheron. My little kid is watching me while playing and since he like ball he enjoyed Icoaster. Icoaster game - you need to select the correct track so that the ball can run through the coaster. Spheron is a car race , you need to pass through the yellow arrows to keep on going. You can also collect magz while running the race. While in Arena, you can only play it when you have an opponent. Its a faster finger game, you need to press the arrow key on the screen , first one to finish will win.

Part 2: APC Team Building , JK Mata Resort

After our breakfast in Amigos Cafe we went straight to JK Mata Resort. Its somewhere in Rosario Cavite, very near our office as well. The resort is quite small but I guess enough for us. I think only around 50 people attended our team building and not everyone will stay overnight. (<--- Left Side) Is the pool which is in the middle part of the resort. The location of the resort is somewhere inside a very small street, I did not even think that there is a resort there. The place looks like a good place to celebrate special events like baptism, birthdays, debuts etc.

Here we are resting while waiting for the start of the program and for the food to be serve. The resort do have 4 small bedrooms, 2 on each side and on the middle is the bathroom. The bathroom is big and do have a bath tub but then the flush of the toilet is not working and the bath tub is unusable because its clogged. I hope the management will improve it to make it more attractive.

First award goes to Jonathan Profeta our Senior TSE.

My Treasures

Because my shift is from 11pm to 8am I usually sleep around 11am to 7pm. This past few days I am having a hard time sleeping because of the heat. Since its already summer the temperature is too high. We don't have air conditioner at home and I am only using an electric fan. Most of the time I would wake up in the middle of my sleep because of getting irritated.

Yesterday I was awaken not by the temperature but by the loud cry of my son, David. It was raining outside so I thought he was afraid of the thunder. It was about 5 in the afternoon. Usually he and his dad would go to the basketball court near our house and eat "merienda." I looked around and saw Robin fixing our clothes outside so that it will not get wet by the rain.

I cuddled my son and asked him "Why are you crying?" He said, while tears are flowing in his eyes, "Baka patay daddy, kuryente cia" ( "Daddy might get kill by the lightning"). Its not really a hard rain and the possibility of getting hit by lightning is very very little. Maybe 0.000000001%. His reason for crying may seem non-sense for others but to me its means a lot.

His answer makes me realized how much he loves his father. He is really crying because he doesn't want to lose hid dad. It touches my heart and I guess it somewhat awakens the love I have for my husband. I actually got worried when he said he would climb the roof to remove some dirt. I told him to be careful because he might fall.

Robin and David are my treasures. Me and Robin have arguments and misunderstanding most of the time. He is not perfect. Even if I'm the only one working for our family and others look at it in a bad way, I do love him. He may not be the provider but he is a good father to my son and husband to me.

My little boy, David, is our gift from God. With his smile, hugs and kisses I am getting strength and courage to keep on going. No matter what happen I will do my best to have this family complete and not be broken by any circumstances. I am willing to take all the pain and hardship for them. Few months from now I will give birth to another child which would be part of this wonderful treasure that I have. (I have teary eyed when I wrote the last part of this. I guess when I talked about my family my heart gets really soft). I want to thank God for His guidance and love that He continue to shower over us.

Its Summer Time

Summer is fast approaching and school is about to end. Many of us are now preparing for a swimming or some outdoor activities for this coming vacation. This is the time were mostly families gather and friends to go somewhere and enjoy the sun.

Last summer my family was able to go to Puerto Galera and enjoy the beach. Though its quite expensive we were able to enjoy. We went there with my brother Darwin and his girlfriend, who is now his wife. I am not a swimmer but I really enjoyed the fish while snorkling.

Robin and me

We dont have any plans yet this summer but I'm hoping we will be able to go somewhere and enjoy the sun. One of my dreams though is to visit Arizona. I've read that the lower part of Arizona do have hot summer. They said its hotter there that's why most of the houses do have centralized airconditioner.

They offer a lot of vacation spots and some Americans who were tired of cool winter go there for a break and some actually move there to stay for good. I hope someday we will be able to go there and maybe enjoy the summer and have a vacation in Sedona.

Part 1:APC Team Building , Amigos Cafe Breakfast

We had our team building last Saturday, March 21. Because of the what we called global crisis we need to pay P500 for our team building unlike before which is free. This is voluntary so we are not force to come. I was not able to join the last team building so I decided to come this time.
After the last shift which is 8am we first decided to eat breakfast. One of my office mate said that they found a good place to eat near the office. He called it dwarfs place because the table and chairs were small. It sounds interesting when he mention that. With our shuttle service, off we go to Amigo's Cafe which is the name of the restaurant. Its only I guess 10mins from our office.

You will not easily notice the place because it doesnt have a sign board outside. What you will see is a sign board for a car wash. At the gate you will see a monkey playing around.

The monkey playing with the side mirror of our shuttle service.

Here they are while waiting for the food. I took the shot so I am not included and anyways I don't want to display my fats ^_^. As you can see the chairs and tables were so small. It is made of wood and Kuya Johnson says its good to have that outside the house like in the garden. The place have a small stage which I guess they have shows during night time. It also have a small bar place on the side.

The food taste good. I ordered Tapsilog which is worth P65. TL Mel is quite disappointed because aside from waiting too long for the food the egg yolk is not cooked well just like what she requested. Before we left the place Macky and Reinan entertained us with their singing voice.

Dell Pasay Acquired by Teleperformance

I was surprised by the news that Dell Intl. Services in MOA Pasay was acquired by Teleperformance.  I was at the office last friday night when one of my co-worker send me a message to read a blog , of Edge Lacorte, about the said incident.

I was an employee of Dell before for 2 years.  The rumor before I left was Teletech will take over. Dell also have an office in Libis, Eastwood which is not part of the said deal.  Employees were given an option of staying or leaving and get a separation pay.

Because of the global crisis a lot of recession are happening globally.  Atleast they still have a job, they just have to make a choice of being under the management of Teleperformance or look for a new one.  Its a matter of making a right choice, and decisions are in there hands.  Just like what I have mention before on one of my blog.  We cannot control things that are happening around us but we do have control on how we will react to it.

I send a text message to my team mates before to clarify the issue and I got a confirmation from them.  It will take effect on April and employees have one month to decide to stay or not.

On my personal experience I think God is really working in my life.  I am not 100% decided before I left Dell.  The benefits and environment are very good and the only thing that stresses me is making a sale as part of the KPI.  I was given on offer by HP which I declined because the salary is lower.

Out of the blue I got an email from jobstreet asking me to go to EPZA for an interview and exam for American Power Conversion.  I was given an offer but because of the location I was not decided then.  The company is in Rosario, Cavite. Though I'm from Molino Bacoor the said place is still far from my location.  The increase in salary is not really that big.

With the global crisis happening globally we were told by our boss not to worry.  In fact the contact center in APC is planning to expand its business here in the Philippines.  This coming May 12 I will be celebrating my first year and I am proud to say that I already got promoted.  I am now giving technical support to business customers of APC.  I did not search for APC but God lead me here. We will not really understand how God works.  I thank God for all the blessings He has showered me.  To all Dell Pasay employees, don't lose hope.  Its not the end of the world.  I hope you will react on this situation to make your life better and not bitter.

Acne Problem

3 more months to go and I'm about to give birth. I was praying that it would be a girl. Next will I have a scheduled ultrasound to find out the gender. There are a lot things that frightens me after giving birth. Some of these are how to lose wait, a lot of stretch marks :-( and hormonal change which could cause me again to get acne.

After giving birth to my first son. I go to my OB every three months for a contraceptive injection. I prefer that instead of taking pills because I am a forgetful person. I just put it on my reminder on my cellphone every 3 months. When my kid got 3 yrs old my husband and I decided to have another child.

The dilemma was when I stopped the injection all of the sudden acne started to appear. Mostly on my forehead and cheeks. I got irritated and decided to go with my mom and visit a derma. I don't really go to a dermatologist because I don't really have a problem with my skin. It was a painful experience. They pricked all my acne which at first makes my face swollen a little bit and was advise to avoid sunshine. I was given a soap and liquid medicine that I need to use everyday. I was also scheduled for two more check ups after that. It did help my acne was healed. I don't want to experience that again after giving birth. But in case if it happens again I might try products from Dr. SkinSpa that I saw from the internet.

Sinigang / Nilagang Buto-Buto

One of my favorite menu is pork sinigang. With a tight budget here is what I usually do. When I buy groceries I would buy sinigang cut buto-buto which worth about P100-120. I would divide that in half, one for sinigang and the other for nilaga. We're only 3 in the house, me, my husband and my 3 yrs old little boy. I would cook sinigang for our lunch which sometime good for us until dinner. Then I would prepare the nilaga for the next day.

My Pork Sinigang

1/2 kilo Pork buto-buto (sinigang cut)
1 medium onion
ground pepper
salt
5 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
1 Liter of Water
1 Sinigang Mix with Gabi (for 1 Liter)
3 pcs hot chili pepper ( siling haba )
1 medium radish (labanos)
1 bundle of Okra
1 bundle of Kangkong

Saute sliced onion on a low heat and add the pork buto-buto after a minute. Add 5 tbsp of patis and a pinch of ground pepper. Let it simmer for 5 mins in low fire. Then add 1 liter of water and let it boil. When it starts boiling put it in low fire, add the sinigang mix and siling haba, and let it simmer until the meat is tender. If you want it a litte spicy you can cut the siling haba in to two. Add radish and okra and wait until its half cook. Then add kangkong and simmer for another minute. Add salt to taste. Serve while hot. You can have patis , calamansi with chili as "sawsawan."

My Favorite Sinigang!

My Pork Nilaga

1/2 kilo pork buto-buto
2 medium onion (sliced)
1 bundle pechay ( cut in half)
1 medium potato ( sliced)
2 pcs saging na saba (ripe)
ground pepper
salt
1 pork cubes

Put pork buto-buto , sliced onion and a pinch of ground pepper in 1 liter of water and let it boil. Simmer it until meat is tender. Add potato, saging na saba and pork cubes. Once the potato is cooked you can add pechay and let it simmer for 3 minutes. Add salt to taste. Serve while hot.

Poor Little Kid

One day I was on my way to SM Southmall to pick up my new ATM. It was early in the morning between 9-10am. I'm quite sleepy because I went there straight from work. Everything is OK when suddenly a little kid with her mom rode the jeep.

The kid looks like 3-4 years old who is about the same age of my little boy. His mom maybe around 30's. He was given a bottle of yakult by his mom but then the little boy dropped it on his mom's feet. I was not looking when the incident happen so I don't know why the little boy dropped it.

From then on his mom keeps scolding him and spunk him. We were only half of our way to SM. On the way there were other passengers who rode the jeep. Some of the passengers have with them their little kids too. Since the mom keeps on shouting at his kid, passengers keeps on looking at her and while the kids were staring at her in wonder.

Little kids are really clumsy and we should expect that they will fall or drop something. Parents are there to guide them and love them. Its normal for parents to scold their child when they did something wrong. But what irritates me was this mom keeps on scolding his little boy I think for about 30 mins. We were caught by traffic and she will just pause maybe for a minute or two then will start shouting again.

I'm really irritated that I wanted to talked to the woman and tell her you're not helpful at all. Do you think your child will learn or will be better with what you are doing. If you have personal problem don't pour it on your child. You're bugging everyone here so would you stop. Of course I did not do it.

SM comes and she was still nagging. They also went down there and I look at the child while they were walking. The child is not crying but he has this question in his eyes while he was staring at her mom. He doesn't give a reply or anything but I know deep inside him something is going on. They say at the age of 3-5 is a crucial stage of the child's development. That is when their personality is being develop. As they went up to the escalator his mom was still scolding him and I went on my way.

I wonder how was the little boy now. I pity him but I cannot do anything. But I promised to myself that I will not let my little boy experience that. I will show David, my son, the love and care that he needs. I let him do things on his own and I guide him if he needs assistance. I scolded him sometimes but I make sure I explain to him why mommy gets mad. I also say sorry to him when I needed to and I always thank him for every little thing that he does. I really love my kid and I pray to God that he will be a good man someday.

3 Facts About Life

3 Facts About Life

1. You will be disappointed.

"Nobody is perfect " - its a very common quotation which is real.  No matter how good your child is, no matter how perfect your family is, you have a best friend for life, good stable job, very nice boss, lovable person surrounding you - expect they will disappoint you one time or another.  Its a fact, that's why we should love unconditionally and expect flaw from them.  And also remember no matter what you do people who loves and cares about you will get disappointed at you as well in some point.

2. You will not always understand why things happens.

Isaiah 55:8-9

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
declares the Lord.

As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Things happen for a reason.  If right now you have a problem like one of your love one has a very rare or incurable disease, financial issue, disobedient child, your job is at stake, your wife/spouse is unfaithful, death of a love one etc. you name it.  Don't blame God for what is happening.  God works in ways we will not be able to understand.  When we pray don't put God in a box like you are telling Him what to do.  He knows what is best for us. As long as you are following His ways he will lead you to the right direction.

3. What ever happens to your life will either cause you to become bitter or better.

We don't have control of what is happening or going to happen.  But we have control or choice on how you will react on the situation.  Example your child broke your favorite figurine, you have a choice on how you will react.  You can get mad, spunk him, and let him feel your anger or you can tell your child how important the figurine is but let him feel he is more important and next time he should be careful so that mommy will not get sad.  If you do the first option you prefer to become bitter and the second option helps you to become better.  In every situation don't let your feelings take over but instead take a pause and ask God what would be the best thing to do.

- this 3 Facts was mention on last sunday service by Ptr. Joby Soriano.

Counterflow in Coastal Rd - Aguinaldo Hwy: Pain in the Butt

If you live in Cavite I guess you've already experience the counterflow traffic enforcers were implementing. How it works is they stop one lane, let say lane going to Aguinaldo, and let the cars flow on the other lane for about 30minutes and sometimes even more than that. So if you're going to work or school and caught by this counterflow most of the time you will get late. It is really a pain in the butt literally, cause you need to sit for a long time waiting for a traffic that is not moving. On top of that you get more lucky if you were riding a Van or FX where passengers are like sardines. You can feel the sweat of the person beside you and sometimes you can smell something fishy. (eeeww!)

Commonly you will see people sleeping, looking at their watch frequently, frowning, cursing, eating, playing games with their PS2 or cellphone, texting, calling someone telling them they got caught in traffic, babies crying, cars turning off their engines or if its almost 30minutes cars will start the beeping their horns continously etc.

In my opinion I don't see counterflow helpful at all. They've been doing that since I was in college and I now have a 3yrs old kid and their still doing it. I cannot suggest a solution for the traffic in Coastal - Aguinaldo but that's why they are on that position to think for a resolution. There is nothing I can do but suffer the pain of this heavy traffic and the long wait caused by this counterflow. Can they shorten the interval to 15mins instead of 30mins?

Currently, there is a highway on process which will give an alternate route for people living in Cavite City. It will take years to finish and I think it will lessen the traffic in Coastal but I hope they would think of an alternate option to counterflow because its really a head ache to everyone.

A Busy Monday

It was a busy Monday this March 9. I wake up early in the morning to prepare going to my OB for my monthly check up. Dr. Lorena Protacio's schedule is 9am-11am at Las Pinas Medical Center. I thought we arrived late because its already 10:30am when we came. To my husband's disappointment, my OB is not yet there. I told him she might have an emergency or something. I am number 2 on the list and the doctor arrived at around 11am. The first patient took a while, if I'm not mistaken it took almost 30mins. My husband is already asleep waiting while my little boy is playing around. I told him we will go to SM afterwards.

My son is always excited if I tell him we will go to church or visit the doctor because he knows we will go to the mall after. He loves eating chicken joy from Jollibee and having an ice cream. For the ice cream I just bought him one from a stall inside the mall which is cheaper rather than buying from Jollibee. I'm a mom so I need to budget while allowing my son to enjoy. The ice cream taste good so he enjoys it and even me. He also driving car and playing basketball, which we usually do.

The doctor gave me new vitamins for my baby and also a medicine to take if in any case I feel lower abdomen pain just like last week. We also listened to my baby's heartbeat and it sound normal and ok. Next month I will have another ultrasound and I may be able to find out the gender of my new baby. I pray that its a girl.

After visiting the doctor we went to Land Bank of the Philippines which is near SM Southmall. It was because I need to en cash my Philhealth check. I just received it this March, it is my reimbursement for my confinement last December. I got delayed submitting my philhealth contribution so I pay for it and suffer the wait of 3 months to get the reimbursement. That's how slow our government is. Haayss... Anyway, when I got there , the guard told me I cannot en cash the check and I need to go to Ortigas which was the address on the check. Aw! that's too far. I decided instead to deposit it on my savings account which would take 3 days to get cleared.

So off we go to SM and I went to BDO while my husband was changing David's diaper. I waited for them in National Bookstore where I got a coloring book, crayon, pencil and paper for David. After that I bought ice cream for David and we had our lunch in Jollibee. I bought a pair of leggings for me and then we went to a barbershop. Since its already summer we decided that its time for David to have a short hair and then we went home.

Before: Long hair David

After: ready for the hot summer

I still have work that night. My shift is 11pm so I went to bed when we got home. I only have 4 hours of sleep and I'm really tired. I was able to manage to go work and do my job efficiently. I want to thank God for the strength, blessings and guidance that He give to me and my family.

Joshua's 2nd Birthday

Last Sunday, March 8, 2009, Joshua celebrated his 2nd birthday. He was the first and only kid of my eldest brother Dennis. His first birthday was celebrated in KFC and this time it was done in Makati where Joana lives. That is my first time I went there.

We attended church service first in the morning with my mom and dad and then we picked up my brother Darwin, her wilfe Rica, their daughter Danica and Rica's parents. My mom bought cake from Goldilocks before heading to Makati.

Though mom and dad were able to go there before a couple of times they cant remember which way to go because all their visit their was my Kuya Dennis who is driving. We go circling around Makati maybe for 15-20mins before we finally get there. If you are not from Makati it is so hard to find a place because a lot of streets there are one way.

Its like a gathering for our family too because my two brothers along with their wife and kid are there and me with my husband and kid too. I am the only girl and I have 2 brothers. All of us have 1 kid except me because I am 5 months pregnant now for my 2nd blessing. This year my mom will have 4 grandkids.

Study of Pig's Odor

Have you passed by a piggery while driving or maybe visited someone with a livestocks of pigs nearby?  The smell is so aweful, that's why mostly they are located in places away from community because a lot of people are complaining about the smell.

It would be helpful with those businessman if someone would be able to invent something to remove this foul odor so that they can put their business anywhere instead of in an isolated location.

What do you think of Sen. John Mccain project of studying how to remove pigs manure with a budget of $1.7 million.  Is it a waste of money or is he trying to help those people having this kind of business.  With the economic crisis that we are facing do you think it's a good idea to have this project.  It's up to you to judge.

Francis Magalona - died at the age of 44 at Medical City Hospital due to leukemia. He was diagnosed with the said disease last August of 2008. He is known as the "Master Rapper."

Though his songs where mostly about pinoy it was accepted by people and make a breakthrough to Filipino Music. One of his popular song is "Mga Kababayan Ko" (My Fellow C0untrymen) (which I remember was used by a softdrink commercial) and even if you are not a fan of "Kiko" you will know the chorus because it is played everywhere. Other song that I remember is "Tayo'y mga Pinoy" , which is very well known for this line "Tayo'y mga pinoy, tayo'y hindi kano, wag' kang mahihiya kung ang ilong mo ay pango." (we are Filipinoes, we are not americans, you should not be ashamed even if you don't have a pointed nose).

I am not really a showbiz fanatic but I do admire FrancisM's talent.  He is a lost to showbiz and music industry.  I asked God to help the Magalona Family to have a fast healing for the loss of their love one.

Tampons Much Better than Pad?

While chatting in the rest room I find out that one of my officemate prefer to use tampons rather than sanitary pad. I've heard a lot of bad things or myth about using tampons so I tried to search online if which is better.

Most of the common questions/myths about using tampons were:
1. Does it affect virginity?
2. Risk of not be able to remove the tampons.
3. Can cause infection or disease?
4. If it can leave fibers inside our body
5.  Can I wear tampons while swimming?
And the list goes on....

Well during my research it looks like tampons have more advantages than using pad.  Though at first it is quite hard to insert but after several tries you will get use to it.

Usage of tampons doesnt affect virginity.  The risk of not being able to remove it or get stuck is very rare. Tampon has a string that you can use to pull it out and in very rare cases if the string breaks you can manually reach for it.  Vaginal infections and disease are commonly caused by bacteria and tampon uses a special material that absorbs menstruation and the manufacturer make sure that the materials are clean and safe.  Too avoid infection it is recommended you change tampons every 4 hours.

Some of the advantages of using tampon are:
  • You can wear fitted jeans without being noticed that you have your period
  • It doesnt stinks like using pad since the tampon is inside your body
  • It is much smaller than pads so it is easy to carry
  • You can have fun swimming during your period <----- this is what I like most ^_^
I haven't tried using it. Since I am pregnant right now I have no chance of trying it.  After giving birth maybe I'll give it a try.

You Changed My Life - Sarah Geronimo & John Lloyd

Last year I was able to watch "A Very Special Love" featuring Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. I remember I watched it with my friends Annette, Pinky and Ime. We celebrated Pinky's Birthday then, we ate and watched the movie. It was so great, funny , very entertaining, heart warming and "nakakakilig."

When I find out that there is a sequel of the movie entitled "You Changed My Life", I told my husband that I want to watch it. So last Sunday after the church service, we visited Summerpointe subdivision first. That is where we bought a house, I'll post some info about it maybe next time. After that we went to SM Molino where we met my brother , Darwin. My mom took my son, David, home so we couple were able to watch the movie. Yehey!

Just as expected, the movie was good and really a must see one. You will be able to appreciate it more if you were able to watch "A Very Special Love." The first movie is the story of how they end up at each others arms while the 2nd one is when they struggle with their relationship because of Miggy's (John Lloyd) work. Laida (Sarah) was very funny and John Lloyd was so cute. It made me cried and laugh while watching it.

The memorable part of the movie is their cellphone's ringtone "Bebe ko" and the "Super Hug" of Sarah.

For those in the look out for the “Bebe Ko” ringtone they share in the movie, it’s said to be now available to all smart, globe and sun subscribers. Here are the codes:

Text TRU BEBE1 to 2366 (to get Miggy’s “bebe ko”)
Text TRU BEBE2 to 2366 (to get Laida’s “bebe ko”)

What I learned on March 1 Sunday Service

We as a grown ups spend much of our time in the work place.  5 days a week are spent at work and some have 6 working days.  Do you go to work just to earn money?  How do you to treat your boss, co-employees and people under you? What do you think God wants us to do in the work place?

After the service it come to my realization that I should value my job so much , it is God's blessing to me.  Now a days there were a lot of lay offs everywhere and I should be thankful that I do have a good stable job. I should show respect and obedience to my boss since God put him there for a reason.

We should be good steward, use our job for God's glory.  Change our focus, instead of thinking that you are working for your boss, look at it as you were working for God.  Since God gave us this job then we should know how to cultivate it.  Do not be hypocrites by doing your job well when your boss or someone is looking at you.  We should be doing our best at all time and always remember that there is God who sees all our hardwork.

As good christian we should have integrity.  We should have integrity in our private life and in the work place as well.  Having this we will gain trust and respect from our co-employess , our boss and the company.  Most of all God will be glorified because we are doing the right thing.

In short, we should be different and everybody would see that we are exceptional.  It is because we are working for God and not for men. Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Part 2: My Mom's 54th Birthday

It was a simple celebration held yesterday in Batangas at Endaya Cove. I got off from work at 6am and I went home first before leaving. My mom and relatives went there very early. I think they left at 5am using my Tito Peter's vehicle. My husband (Robin), my kid (David), my nephew (RA) and I went to Alabang to rode a bus going there.

Cuenca, Batangas is the exact location. We rode the bus going to Batangas Pier since buses that passes Cuenca is not available in Alabang. Supposedly it should be two rides from Alabang but we find out that there is a bridge being renovated so it took us three rides instead.

We arrived there at around 12 in the afternoon. My cousins were already there swimming since morning. We ate our lunch first and the three boys (Robin, David and RA) enjoyed the swimming pool until we go home. I am 5 months pregnant and I am not in the mood of swimming. Seeing them enjoying the pool is already fun for me.
On my first post about my mom's birthday I was asking what can I give to my mom as a present. Because of having both no time and money I was not able to bring anything. Though that is the case I knew my presence is already a happiness for her.
