Casio Exilim: EX-Z80

25 days before Christmas and I don't have a gift for anyone yet. It was because I paid my credit card when I got my Christmas bonus. I even told my mom that this Christmas I would not be able to buy gifts for everyone unlike last year. We'll I was not able to control myself again yesterday. Every Sunday Robin (my husband), David (my 3yr old little boy) and I would go to church then we would go to SM either to buy some groceries, eat lunch or "merienda" and of course for David because he loves going to SM. He enjoys riding car for kids and most of the time we buy him a single toy. While they were playing billiard I told my husband that I would stroll to look for a new battery for my cellphone. My cellphone which is an Ericsson's K700i is already 2 years old. While looking for battery , I saw some digital camera on display. I've been longing for a digital camera so I told robin I would by the camera instead (twink!). Below is the picture of my new camera. I choose green because its my favorite color. Just a trivia , green was my motif during my wedding. This camera is my Christmas gift to myself.

Public Hospital Needs Help

I visited a relative 2 weeks ago in a government hospital somewhere in Manila and I was shocked with what I saw. They don't have money to go to a private hospital and I was thankful (at first) that our government do have this privilege for the poor. If you look outside the building, though the building is big it looks very very old. When we enter the hospital there were patients lying on a mono block with dextrose. I saw a little kid watching TV with his mom. I think there were 3 or 4 patients there whom I think are located there because there were no more room to accommodate them. The white painting is now dirty white and the floor looks like has never been sweep for how many days. The windows are all open since there is only one ceiling fan in a room. I also noticed that the patients bed does not have a cover and the blanket of the patients was so thin because of its oldness. On my relative's room where old patients. There were 5 beds and two of them are vacant. The small table for the vacent bed are so sticky. Its use for food and I think its the patients obligation to clean it. I saw a post on the wall that everything is free, accommodation and all medicines , but it looks like they only have the basic medicine so the patients still have to buy what they need outside the hospital. I did not see a nurse station on each floor which is common in a private hospital. It really touches my heart to see those patients. They were hoping for government assistance which I guess is not really enough. I don't want to blame anybody but I hope our government would do something about this. What we have on stake here are lives of our fellow countrymen. I hope everyone would act on this instead of blaming each other.

Amazing Love

Last Sunday when me and my husband went to church, I was touched by this song "Amazing Love."  Its really amazing how great the love of our God is.  Though we are not worthy of his love, He gave Jesus to redeem us from our sin. Please watch the video below that I got from you tube.  I hope this would also touch your heart. Jesus Loves Us All!

AMAZING LOVE

I'm forgiven, because you were forsaken
I'm accepted, you were condemned
I'm alive and well, you're spirit is within me
Because you died and rose again

I'm forgiven, because you were forsaken
I'm accepted, you were condemned
I'm alive and well, you're spirit is within me
Because you died and rose again

Amazing love, how can it be
That you my king would die for me
Amazing love, I know it's true
It's my joy to honor you
Amazing love, how can it be
That you My king would die for me
Amazing love, I know it's true
It's my joy to honor you
In all I do I honor you

I'm forgiven, because you were forsaken
I'm accepted, you were condemned
I'm alive and well, you're spirit is within me
Because you died and rose again

My Second Gift

I really thank God with my little boy, David.  He is now 3 yrs old. I remember when he was newly born. He was so tiny, so soft that I was afraid to carry him.  Time really goes very fast. He now talks a lot and ofcourse it touches my heart every time he would come to me and hug me and say "i love you mommy."  Just like other kids he is sometimes very naughty that causes me to spank him but tears from his eyes softens my heart.  I would need to control my feelings to be able to discipline him.  He will go to nursery school by next year and I am really excited about it.  Seeing him with school uniform and going home with good stories from what happen in school.  One more thing that excites me by next year would be a new baby.  I just find out last week that I am pregnant.  This would be my second precious gift from God.  Since I already have a little boy , I pray that this time it would be a girl.  My husband is also looking for a baby girl.  One thing that I don't like about getting pregnant is getting fat, I guess its part of it.  I want to thank God for all the blessings that we have and especially for this new life in my womb.

SOUTHEASTERN COLLEGE HYMN

The Builder of youth of the land,

Hail to thee, we adore

In thoughts, in words and in deeds

We are bound to defend

Southeastern College name

Known all o'er the eastern seas

The name we should keep

till the end of time

Your sons and daughters

Will cherish you forever

One day at work while waiting for a call I just started humming "Southeastern College Hymn." I guess its not surprising that I still know the song by heart since I studied there from grade 2 up to high school. Imagine singing the song everyday for about 8yrs (wew!). Time is really fast, I started to reminisce my elementary and high school days. Life was so easy then, all I worry about is school (passing the exam, not to be caught noisy, avoid being late, seeing your crush....etc), those days were really fun. I did find out that my school already have a website www.southeastern.com.ph. I checked the list of teachers and I guess they were all new, or maybe my memory is not that good. I wonder how the school looks like now. I have a lot of experiences there that I guess would always be part of my life and part of what and who I am today. I would like to say hi to my high school batch mates, graduates of year 1994-1998. God Bless you All!!!!! I wonder where are you guys right now, maybe some of you already have mansions..... wow!

Taal View in Endaya's Cove

We went to Batangas last November 9 to celebrate my Tito Joe's Birthday. I don't know how old he is but he is the youngest among the 10 siblings of my mom. My tito's and tita's are there as well as my cousins. There were lots of food but one thing that makes the celebration special is the place. It was my tito's rest house in batangas called "Endaya's Cove." In this resort you can see the view of Taal Lake, you don't need to go to Tagaytay to see the beautiful serenity.

Here is the view of the Taal Lake if you went on the side of the resort.

This is the big space after the entrance, I think my tito is planning to put some small nipa hut or kubo here. There is also a basketball court.

Here is my son sleeping while his tito's and tita's were already enjoying the pool. He got tired because we arrived at my lola's house around 2am and he did not sleep until we went here.

Here they are enjoying the pool. My husband on the front, my brother is waving and the other three are my cousins.

The swimming pool.

My cousin enjoying the bubbling part of the pool.

Here is the infinity view, it looks like the pool is part of the lake.

CD-R King: Bad Customer Service?

CD-R King: I guess you already know this store. This is one of the most popular computer accessories store in the Philippines where you can buy affordable computer items. Mostly their items are cheap because it is made especially for them (CD-R King Branded). I have bought several items from them like blank cds, bluetooth device for my cellphone, flash drive, mouse , cd case etc. Name it, they offer almost all computer accessories that you need. I've been to two different CD-R King stores , one in Mall of Asia (MOA) and one in CD-R King in SM Southmall. One thing that I don't like about going there is their poor customer service. The crews are not friendly especially in MOA and the queue are always long. The only thing that makes me go there is the price of the items and I don't have an option. I guess they don't really have competitors in the market that sells affordable items. One thing that makes their process very slow is their receipt is not computerized. They need to write it manually using a pen and use a calculator to compute for the total. Do you know those receipts when you buy an item from a regular hardware store? That's what they are using. I like their goods but the service is very poor. I hope the management will do something about it.

Here is my bluetooth device that I got from them. I use these to transfer photos from my cellphone to my computer. I think I got this for P300+, very affordable.
